Found out today that Stratford Theatre is having a "costumes and props" sale on Saturday and Sunday.

I will definitely drop in on my way back from Chatham on Saturday. Can't pick Tootie up from "Boot Camp" until later in the day, anyway.

I have already started buying Christmas presents, I must confess.

@c_mcarthur , You'll get use to the commute. The Lady and my commute is usually about 1:15 in the AMs, and about 1:40 in the PMs heading home...those times are on a good day with no traffic on the 401...
One of the big things for me when looking for a place, was for it to not be in the west...simply because of the sunrise and sunset each day during the commutes (especially in the spring and fall when the sun is just at eye level) Hope you've got a good pair of driving sunglasses.

Yea on average depending on time of day i leave for work, anywhere from 45-1 1/2 each way also I had no idea about the sun but its bad. I have sunglasses, but because i'm so short, the sun visor does nothing.

@c_mcarthur...do you drive into the big city from Mississauga?! Wow...must take hours driving west on that 401 heading home! Stay safe out there!

I actually drive from the cambridge area into north mississauga... it can be a real pain.

Hope this day goes quickly for you worker bees!

Today the mobile lab will come to do my post-op blood work.
Nurse might come, I wasn't told Tuesday when my next visit would be.

Oh, fruitcake! Yum! My Mom's was really good, but she didn't use nuts. My second oldest sister makes a killer fruitcake with lots of nuts.

The last few years, have been buying commercial ones, but of course they aren't great. However, last year my husband bought one at church they were selling as a fundraiser, and it was awesome. Made by a bakery in Yorkton, a city south east of here. Hoping they have them again this year!

Milan is coming over after school. Next week is his last week, doing reviews before they write the fourth year test, then the journeyman's exam.
He just can't wait to get back to work, he misses it.

It's a sunny day so my DH is driving me to Michaels for a few painting supplies, then depending on how my knee/leg is, we may venture a little farther up that strip to HomeSense, perhaps Marshalls but then I'll be done for a day or two with this fibro.

Good ballgame last night, eh, @walkonby ? Eh?? Nice game??? Heh-heh-heh.....sorry your team lost and mine won. Sort-of sorry, but not really big sorry... ON the upside, Crosby is still goal-less!! Reason to celebrate!!

I hope everyone's day goes by quickly if you're working, if at home, I hope it's a leisurely day!!

Cooper's done this on many occasions. although our stairs are solid oak...so not as comfortable as the carpeted stairs here.

Sooooo, I did a neato shop at Sobeys this morning!! The one day only thing was so lucrative!! I spent zero $$ because I used the Sobeys GC's to pay for everything ( total was $108.82 ) earned a total of 400 Air Miles, 395 of them were BAM, the other 5 were regular ) also got a save .05 a Litre coupon off my next Shell purchase AND gas is going down again tonight!!
