I just heard on the news about people worried about rising food prices....DH just bought me 1 loaf of GF bread and 4 hotdog buns: $17.
I'm now on the look-out for a really great GF bread recipe as wonderful as the one we just bought.
This is an expensive problem to have...sheesh!!

Happy noontime!

Just popping in with a hi before I try to have a snooze.
Nurse came at 10 to check my leg, only a small piece came off, but she thinks Friday it would be good enough to go back to using the compression socks on it. How nice it will be to have that leg naked for the night again!

My taste has improved more, about 50%. Also can eat a bit more.

Sunday we made chili, and wow was it ever good - so awesome to taste good things again!

I did an order from Superstore yesterday - not a place where we shop in person, but no one else here has online ordering. I picked up lots of things, some for Christmas - and it's good for my husband since he doesn't have to do selecting or understand what I want.

For example, two days ago he was stopping in at Sobeys for milk and bread, so I asked him to pick up some Chicken Bones. I usually get them at London Drugs, but this year they are really pricey there. Sobeys had them for 20% off, so that made them a lot less. However, my idea of a handful is so very different than my husband's - he bought over $13 worth, and no one else likes them here.

Back still stiff but definitely better. Should be able to go to noon spin class tomorrow. Then a doctors appointment Thursday for him to fill out my odsp forms. Hope everyone is doing well today.

Oh my gosh, @Lynn49 ! That's terrible about the RCSS employee. Hepatitis A is nothing to sneeze at. I hope you all will be ok!

@cabmonk glad your back is on the mend. The pics that you posted, some were older but that newer one shows a very trimmed down bod! The hard work is really paying off. Congrats.

@GoJays, we sure do have the same taste in um..things, hahaha...

It's like the concert at our GS's school today. Our DD and I agreed that if our GS's guitar trio was the first on the performance list, we'd leave after it and not have to endure everyone else's kids perform!! Her MIL thought we were just too heartless, lol...because she enjoyed the other little tots.
Uh, no. The teensie little JK kids were cute, but that's it.

Btw...our GS and his two buddies playing their guitar trio with their teacher playing chords? They got an ovation after their first song, and a rousing applause after Feliz Navidad. The packed gym was quiet as can be when they were plahing. Now THAT I could have sat through again and again, hahaha!!

We just got home from the kids' home after the concert...now we have to figure out what and if we need to eat anymore....I do think I'll have a glass of wine, though. After-all...the LEAFS are playing, right, @walkonby?

Enjoy the evening...yep...one week to Christmas Eve!!!!

Oh!! We should all just watch this movie tonight....BEST scene EVER in jail, excellent movie if you haven't seen it yet!!!

Well the Roger's guy came and the source of the whole problem is, in fact, my phone!!!!! Dear Santa, can I add one more thing to my list?

Hoping that our drive doesn't include the snow squalls predicted for here.
