Good afternoon, friends!
Went to exercise class here this morning. Boy, have I lost ground compared to where I was. But, I am also having a salad for lunch and some fruit.
We got about 5" of snow and 60 km/hour wind bursts
This last walk, I took my trusty shovel and shoveled out a couple of places where doggies can do their thing without sticking their little butts in the snow.
Epiphany today . I am working on getting Christmas packed away. That has expanded into a kind of " Spring Cleaning."
Well, better get back to work.
See you later.

Welcome to 2020 @danger_dan !! Your daily grind is the same as 2019 I suspect as no invention of a flying car was revealed making your commute any easier? Hope the Missus and Cooper got all new toys for Christmas!
@GoJays when I saw that metal TP holder you posted I gave him a name! Bony Buttler !
get it? Bony cuz he 's skeletal, and Buttler spelled with 2 t's cuz TP's for your butt!
Oh some days they write themselves!! ha ha ha
@Lynn49 my DH's family ( Mom's side ) did the 7th as well, Little Christmas? Everyone who celebrated that are no longer with us and we used to keep our own tree up till the 7th because of my MIL, but this year everything was down and packed away before New Years.
@avoncallingu that might be the best multi tasking act so far in 2020. Putting your Xmas decor away while inviting Spring here sooner by cleaning!
Lazy day now for me, there was a specialists appt earlier where a scale was involved. I experienced temporary blindness and deafness as I stepped on, so I never saw a number and never heard the Dr. SAY a number!! ta da!!! Magic!

@Lynn49 - so glad you have wonderful memories of that!
I, too, have spent some time reflecting on it..
One thing I don't believe many people realize is that those Englishers (as kids used to call non-Ukr.) stop singing Christmas carols once Christmas is over.
Our tradition is to just start singing them Christmas Eve and go until Epiphany.
I was able to have a late afternoon nap. It's the first day I didn't see my husband when he left for work, nor when he came home. He is snoozing on the couch.
Supper is leftovers, so I don't need help there.
Have a restful evening!

Hello and good night!
Our new minister introduced the idea to our congregation that Christmas carols ought to be sung after Dec.24th up until today.
Well, the sun came out this afternoon but I was busy de-Christmasing and washing everything from Christmas tablecloths to doggie beds.
I have even been using Brasso on things that have rarely (if ever) been Brassoed before.
I need to work on removing various stains from teak stacking side tables.
I've washed all the Christmas bedding and will shove the suitcase in which it is stored under the bed as soon as I have filled and moved all the rest of the Christmas-related boxes.
My amaryllis is beginning to bloom. One is called "Apple Blossom. " I bought it on the weekend and it had already started to sprout inside the box. The stem is at a weird angle, but the blooms are lovely.
Well, hoping you are all heading into a lovely night of dreaming happy dreams, I wish you "Good night."

I've had the apple blossom amaryllis before @avoncallingu , they are amazing. But despite my best efforts, I have never been able to make them rebloom. I've managed long, strappy leaves and that's it. So, another planted added to my "never again" list.
