Good morning!!
I'm getting my 2nd Moderna vaccination today on our way home from camp.
It looks like it might rain and I just hate being in a car in rain!!
@walkonby , wine is always a good idea. 🥂🍾 I've never made empanadas...I do enjoy eating them, however.....😏
Enjoy the day, everyone, rain or shine, we have nothing to shovel. 🤗

Congrats @Lynn49 on getting a slot to get poked a 2nd time. My attempt went like this.
Logged in right at 8:00 a.m. to the City Of T.O. site and after entering a few fields I was " in the queue " with what they said would be an approx. 1 hour wait.
I had a dental appt. at 9:15 so chancing waiting for my number to roll around on the covid appt. was something I just could not do.
When I returned from said appt. it was nearly 11:00 a.m. I jumped back on the covid site, this time it said 30 minutes wait!!
Woo hoo! Until I discovered that there were NO appts available anywhere near us!
Tanks for nuttin!
I should have waited out the first time because to my disappointment my dentist did not even arrive to the clinic until almost 10:00 a.m. What a lost opportunity.

Oh, dang it, @walkonby , yes, although you were concerned about your appointment, I wish you were able to hold on. When I called the 800 number I was also told it was an hour wait...I waited, and it wasn't much more than a 1/2hr wait.
Did you use the 1-800-708-2505?
I might have given you another number earlier...this is the one I got from our Dr to make it easier to get through the line-ups.
And yes...FIRST thing in the morning no matter how long it takes.
When I walked into the rec centre earlier today for my shot, the gal ahead of me asked them if they had any cancellations..turns out the had 3, so she got the last one for her friend that was with her.
I may try to call again to get an earlier one for my Hubby.
Home safe and sound, fully vaccinated!!
Hope that all goes well for each of you when your turns roll around!

Good day my friends! This will be short and sweet as I've aggravated my right shoulder(which I busted years ago) and the pain has been ongoing since Thursday. Given that I'm right handed it is almost impossible not to move it. Oh well perhaps I will remember this for the next time and not repeat my mistake. Who am I kidding!
At least there are re-openings which is a great mental boost. Hope we are finally going to see some light.
I see @avoncallingu has not been about for awhile now. I hope and pray all is well with her.
Well it's time for me to sign out. Everyone in SC land and in the outer world, have a great week! and be the blessing you would have someone be to you!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

@walkonby my DH and I got our second dose of the vaccine on Saturday. My DDs was awake before 8am today to get an appointment and they were lucky to get one for the 23rd June so I am happy it worked out for them. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get one soon

Good morning, all!
It's just after four, I am awake and perky, totally enjoying the COOL room! I am down to one fan. I don't know how high our temp got yesterday - there was a heat warning so that is over 30 I think. The evening was beyond uncomfortably hot, more satan-like. So gross.
The a/c window unit in the kitchen died last week, so that was bad timing. Even though I can't get to the kitchen when it's on, it did make a diff in overall cooling with strategic placement of fans.
And today will be the same, maybe a few degrees hotter. Gah!
Nothing else new here. Husband was in bad shape yesterday, but I am hoping he is okay enough to pick up a few groceries, just basics.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Is my region the only one that automatically books a second appointment while you're booking the first? I'm reading about you all scrambling around and waiting in long lines to rebook and here we are all ready to go. Have your region call my region for some pro
life tips on how to do things the right way. Honestly..... I feel bad, they make it so much more difficult than it has to be
