Good morning, it's new glasses day!!!
Ok, so THIS time I'm really excited because my optician wasn't hopeful that my chunky prism lenses would be set into a larger frame, so she sent it to a company that specializes in not giving up, and trying their best to fit difficult lenses into frames, and they did it!!
Yesterday morning I woke from a horrible nightmare that they couldn't make it happen, and my optician kept trying frames on me and I didnt like any of them, then we went to another store.....nightmare! Then the phone call!! She did it! Of all the funky frames she tried on me, that was the only, only one I wanted!!! Yay!

Not much else new, you were pooped last night, @walkonby , and I made an apple crisp at 9pm! Lol!
No hockey games here, but I do hope your Leafs won!

Still far too wintery here, can't believe it's April on Friday!! -7, expecting ice!?
But my lovely crows are singing out there and the chickadees are flitting back and forth to our feeders. No sign of our squirrel yet.

Wrt your baking up an apple crisp in the hours when " some " people are heading up to bed, all I can say is that is wonderful!
I'll bet it was delicious.
Our Leafs played an awesome game, mashing the Bully Bruins 6-4......The Boston players turned even uglier with their hitting when they were down by 4 goals. Can't score? Can't finesse skate? O.K. then....act like GOONS!
Three troubling losses though, our goalie ( Mrazek ) was pulled in the 1st, injured. The young kid replacing him who's last name is pronounced NOTHING like it's spelled! ( go ahead....TRY saying what you think it is! spelled Kallgren )
He did great though and then 2 of our defense-men ( Holl and Lyubushkin ) get hit, left and did not return.
Last but not least, Matthews scored his 49th goal and NEARLY got #50.....so close!

Good morning!

Huge problem with my glasses, we dropped in at HomeSense and I couldn't read a price tag! Back to my optician, yep, my optometrist forgot to put bi-focals on the 'script!! $900 useless glasses! So thankfully my optician will correct it, no charge, and are sending my glasses back! I hope they reach that optometrist and get the $ out of her pocket!! So no pretty glasses, yet.

Quite the ice-storm, but thankfully overnight, and that's melted now, hope the snow follows. Won't take long if we can get a string of + temps. 2 this morning, going up to 8.
