@Natalka my heart remains broken for your family and the medical issues you and DH have ongoing, but now to lose your nephew Philip in the prime of his young life. How decent of Milan to show support by being a pallbearer, and the family surely knows neither of you were well enough to attend. It's a given Philip's wife and children are impacted, my deepest sympathies to them.
Good morning to all who are up and at 'em.
I did a quickie trip to the salon earlier to sit with the talented " hair artist" so she could to fix what the other " butcher " did to it a few weeks back. This hairdresser KNEW what I was complaining about, it was not my imagination. The previous gal had cut me a mop that was impossible to style and not have ends sticking out all over. No Mousse or product was of any help.
My happy face is back on now....hooray!
No chocolates of any kind have found their way into the home since January 20th, however, since it's Easter I bought 4 packages of something my ( adult grown son! ) loves. Peanut Butter Cups with crushed potato chips inside of them!!
I will stop short of hiding them around the room and making him hunt for them....lolLast edited by walkonby; Sat, Apr 16th, 2022 at 01:15 PM.

So I’ve been up since 6am and really haven’t accomplished much other than having breakfast with my tea and vitamins and a small glass of vanilla cold brew . Yum! It’s so much better than the Starbucks I used to get plus it lasts longer since I really only need a small amount. I’m trying to watch my caffeine and the only kind I get is when I drink coffee so that’s good but I’m super vigilant about how much I drink because it can really ramp up my anxiety if I’m not careful.
I’m desperately trying to get a menu plan for tonight until Wednesday night and since I’m trying to use up freezer stuff and whatever I have on hand it’s difficult to say the least! I’m going to have to pick up some veggies first thing in the morning otherwise I have nothing. So far I’ve used up the last sweet potato for tonight’s dinner so literally I have zero veg left.
Send some inspiration my way if you can…..I can always veganize it.

Thank you so much for your condolences on the loss of my nephew... It hardly seems real. His dad had passed away relatively young six years ago at 66. Then five years ago my brother died at 47.
Hopefully this stops - too much tragedy, but geez two of them in their 40s?
Easter will be low key for many reasons, just the three of us will do what we can.

An early Good Morning and Happy Easter to all.
Wish I could post the card that I sent to the kids....it was a musical/video type from that 123Greetings site.
If you go on the site. look under Easter Cards, then on the first page of options you can click on it to play, it's pretty funny!

Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone!
Lovely Easter dinner at the kids' home yesterday, lots of chatter, food, and games. Today is a day of rest.
Enjoy your day, everyone.
