yeah, @GoJays that sociopath one was good BUT the CAT one! OMG, store it in a cool dry place!? That one really made my day.
So a certain someone on here is privy to exactly what and how much of everything I scarfed down on Easter Sunday as DH, my sis and I all dined at the Chinese Buffet. ( we had reserved a few weeks back, but hummed and hawed over whether to still go given the rise in the newest covid variant. )
We went ahead with our plans, bought N95 masks and wore them, with a new pair of disposable plastic gloves on each and every trip up the food.
Restaurant supplied the gloves.
This buffet give tickets for 1 lobster per person....and since my DNA never allows me to let food go to waste, I happily accepted DH's and my sister's offer of their lobster tickets as they don't care for it....( ??? ) They were awesome! Not my dinner mates, the lobster tails So clean, almost sweet! , didn't even need melted butter on them. No strong off putting lobster taste. ( sadly I've had some bad ones )
DH and I were trying to celebrate " normalcy ", this was our first dine-in meal since 2019. Fingers crossed big time for neither of us, nor my sis to start experiencing any covid symptoms.
Anyhow, it is back on track today for me and my reducing diet. Soup to the rescue!

Can any of us believe that snow storm yesterday?! I did know it was coming but somehow I totally forgot about it. Once the tv signal started to act up THAT'S when I remembered. I dashed up the stairs ( lol!!!, honestly my version of dashing ) to peek outside, yikes, it looked quite daunting the way it was blowing and coming down.
Thankfully it was the kind of snow that became a distant memory by this morning. It's still so nasty cold out though, I'll hang around inside slurping soup and watching the new Better Call Saul episode.
Enjoy your Tuesday all!

Well, @walkonby , our snow has stayed on the ground! It looks like a f&*%ing winter wonderland out there! And of course I have a dental cleaning today. Wasn't I sitting on our swing outside with Jenny yesterday?!
So they got that dame who pushed that woman onto the TTC tracks. I've always stood with my back against a wall, or post...it scares me to see people nearly hovering over the ttacks waiting for the train! Why? There are crazies everywhere! Not sure it's affordable to install those doors that only open when the trains stop, but maybe in certain stops it may be worth it.
Ok! On with the day, everyone!
