So 45 years ago TODAY I became a FT Letter Carrier! Funny how some dates forever stick in your mind. An anniversary, sort of?
I remember what a huge deal it was to get on FT. Hope anyone who works outside today stays dry. We're having some rainfall that maybe wants to make a day of it.

I hope the rain helped that smoke smog there, @walkonby , it certainly made a difference here; overnight thunder boomers and lots of rain, thankfully. Our gardens here sure needed it, too!

Just a quick g'day...off to get blood-work done, then...hm...all dressed up and no where to go? We'll see.

oh crap! When I read the post above this one I was hoping for the best wrt to the smoke. Well @Lynn49 all dressed up or not, after getting that blood work done, make it an indoor window or real shop by heading to a Mall!

yep, mornin flemeth.
Trying a new way to sip my beloved morning coffee. A single Keurig cup ( Folger's Black Silk ) set for 8 ounces, adding 4 tblsp of unsweetened coconut milk.
It was suggested to warm the milk up before adding or apparently it will curdle, so I did that. The " savings " I get from eliminating the same amount of 10%
cream is noticeable.
11 less calories, 3 grams less carbs, 1 gram less fat, 30 mg less sodium and a whopping 4 grams less sugar! ( the coconut milk had zero? ), so I can use those
on other food entries. Oh and the flavour is NOT coco-nutty, just pleasant and creamy. I added 2 drops of Stevia liquid.

My long awaited cut and colour appt. is today!!

IT’S OUR 53rd ANNIVERSARY TODAY!

It’s sure not the bright, sunny wedding day we had, that’s for sure…dull, drizzly, but keeping that smokey air a little reduced. Out for dinner this evening.

Did anyone see the scroll on tv this morning that our smoke has reached Europe?!
