    Good Day!

    Hope everyone is having a good day. I appreciated having my lunch and snacks ready in the fridge for today. Took lots of pressure off of me.
    Tonight while making dinner I will prep my lunch for tomorrow.
    I will make smothies for breakfast for DS and I since he has online learning so it will be nice of me to make it for him before I go to work

    Morning! I was good and made my breakfast, lunch and snacks for today last night.

    Eating oatmeal with fresh blueberries right now

    Hopefully the icy sidewalks are cleared by the time I get off work so I can go for a walk. I wore my running shoes so I may just stop downtown on my way home and take a walk since they had done a great job keeping the sidewalks clear.

    Yesterday was a bad day, my anxiety got the best of me which means Lunch and Snacks did not happen.

    Hoping for a better day today.

    Breakfast was French Toast Cups Mom made yesterday. I need to be better at pre prepping Breakfasts, even though I am working from home mornings tend to be our busy time at work so some days if I do not have something I can just grab I miss breakfast.

    I agree with the prepping. I need to do this to keep on tract. It was nice to just grab my bag of food this morning and go without thinking about what I would eat.
    When working from home I will be able to make it as I go which will be nice too.

    I am the opposite, most people I know say they eat way more working from home, I on the other hand eat way less when working from home.

    I am working on it, so far today I have had Breakfast, Lunch and a snack of Clementines

    I eat less working at home and get busy on something and forget to eat. I just meant it will be nice to not have to worry about packing a healthy lunch/snacks like when I am in the office since I will be at home and can eat there.

    Last night's dinner and late night snack was not the best choice but today is another day!

    Had a coffee at 9am today. Just eating my breakfast now- a Greek yogurt.

    Lunch will be a toasted roast beef sandwich that I CAN'T wait to eat!!! Will have sliced up cucumbers with it (leftover from yesterday that I did not eat) Hoping to hold off till at least 1pm before eating lunch but will see!

    Tonight- Laundry and housework. So will put on my running shoes and get my steps in. Will be up and down the stairs!
    I am in the office this week during daylight so will make sure to hit the park for a long walk on Sat and Sun. Then I can walk during the day next week while working from home.

    I’m trying to give myself less excuses/opportunities to eat chocolate at my desk. I know that I eat it as comfort food when I’m stressed or in pain, occasionally when I’m hungry and I can’t just leave my class of students in order to get some actual food. I bought sugar snap peas and fresh cherries a couple days ago. I’m also enjoying my great deals on salad kits, which have made them almost free.

    I need to get outside more. It’s report card season, semester change, and 6 new students joined my online class last week. Talk about busy. I still keep my water bottle with me, but some days I drink more water than on other days.

    Getting better at eating (yes, that sounds so funny to say). I am getting at least 3 meals a day and trying to get a snack in as well. My body prefers 5 smaller meals in a day just helps me feel my best so goal is to get back to 5 smaller meals. I know many aim for 6 but maybe it because I go to bed so early but I rarely eat after dinner so that 6th meal does not happen.

    Movement is still an issue. I try my best but now working from home getting up and moving is still a challenge. I plan that every hour or two I will get up and do something around the house to get in some movement but then things happen. I end up in a meeting or on a phone a call or just in the middle of something I cannot stop.

    Right now my goal is more water (goal is 2 to 3 of my 24oz water bottle each day, I am at 2 right now but want to add in the 3rd) and getting 5 smaller meals in a day. I will aim for more movement but we start our training blitz this week which will make getting up and moving around even harder as I have scheduled back to back to training sessions with our staff to get through all that needs to be done.

    Still a work in process but getting there

    We're cooking from scratch more. Noticing less boxes in recycling and my coat zipper seems to be going up easier. My weight is still blechy but down a tinge.
    I cycled on the stationary bike but I can't bike for very long, instead of counting minutes, I'm counting peddles, it seems to work for me, tomorrow, I'll add either 10 or 25 more peddles.

    I got on my recumbent bike today,plus did leg weights and a 20 minute walk .My goal is to keep it up .

    Good idea to cook more of what you eat. That way, there is less hidden sugar, salt, and other 'fillers'.

    What's a 'peddle'?

    Good idea. One dietician was arranging a regiment to help her father and one part of it was 4 litres of water a day. He would fill an empty 4L milk jug daily. Supposedly, water would help with weight loss because it made him feel full longer and keep him away from beverages with sugar.
