A new beginning in getting HEALTHY...2017, here we come!!!

Irritated my shoulder/ side of my neck a bit yesterday in the garden so I’m going to avoid pickle ball today . Stretching, a bit of icing it and then walking today is the plan.

This morning in the Shameless Animal Video that comes into my news feed, I took notice at what they call a Potato Fairy. ( it's a plump. slow moving, fussy little frog.)
I certainly was mesmerized by it ( them ) and found delight in their comical indifference to whatever situation various humans exposed them to.
Food? meh? Maybe I'll eat it, maybe I'll crawl over the food. Obstacle courses? again meh? I might climb a bit, fall down, roll over ( cuz I'm so plump! ).

Well.....enjoy this clip if you like. I do believe I was meant to see these wee creatures to remind me to get going on my chiro exercises! lol

Just finished a 5 km hot and HUMID run . The best part was running through the water park in full gear after! OMG, it was just what I needed

Another 17 and change km ride today. Luckily we finished before most of the humidity and heat started. Man do I enjoy riding (especially when I have cycling shorts!)

Didn't bring a lunch to work today and my vehicle is blocked in the parking lot so walked a few blocks downtown to grab a salad at the deli.
Was nice to get out

Since April 9th 2023.....I've now rid myself of 37.8 pounds. Woo hoo. Tbh, this go-around has been such a grind though. When the sale shows progress I get so motivated.
That was my mood today when I read the new lower number.

Thankfully Dh and went for a ride Friday night before the smoke hit and we did another 17km yesterday evening and the smoke wasn’t too bad. Today is another story. It’s bad here so it’s an indoor kinda workout day.

Pushed myself to go on treadmill this morning. I wanted to quit 1/2 through but pushed myself. I'm sure tomorrow will be better because of it.

I'm going to go to GT today and grab the spinach and mixed greens on sale for $1.99. Will be a nice change for a salad.

Trying to get healthier ourselves.

I brought my "mostly" healthy items to check out in Metro and couldn't remember if my offer was 90 AM when spend $90 or $100. The cashier suggested I grab a couple of chocolate bars. So I did get my 90 AM but now I ended up buying 4 packs of Reese's pb cups to reach $100 LOL. Why can't they put celery and carrots on the racks at the checkout?

It me getting back to the drawing board, uh the diet.

Starting fresh again after some time off for good behaviour. Meh? Gotta have these humbling lows so the highs don't get too braggy. Carry on everyone.
