I received a colouring book it was retro insults designs from amazon, I gave it to someone who was really interested in the book. I have another section of a different order coming today at least that’s what amazon says it’s Wonder Woman the movie and Liquorice babies from Yupik a 1kg bag.

I am eating leftover spaghettini that I made the other day. Usually I don’t eat left overs right away but I was hungry and after you make delicious spaghettini for like 4 it’s hard not to eat it. Plus I have a horde of pasta that I never eat maybe it has something to do with my childhood on how I was subjected to was spaghetti with sauce. I can’t eat as much these days or my acid reflux will kick in so it’s usually 6 small meals a day. Oh the joys of medical issues NOT.

I am going to shoppers when I believe it opens at 8am to grab my 30$+ for 15x the points event. I have looked at the flyer and going for the deal happening event. I have some zebra coupons that i received yesterday that have most of the expensive items at shoppers like anywhere from 1-3$ off like Venus disposables which I use so I might stock up on them if I get two dollars off and I have 2 coupons. Can I stack at shoppers?

    Good Morning Everyone,
We did our shopping last night which for the most part went well. I have a been a little disappointed lately with the lack of Lettuce being on sale and even when I have gone to by it not on sale the quality has been horrible. Even last time we were at the Costco all of the lettuce and Salad products were brown and some were even turning to liquid.

We mostly bought produce with a few stock up items like Jam & Pasta included as their price point was right for stocking up. Plus we now need Pasta as we lost 2 bags to the mice.

The produce we picked up, all on sale or price matched was:
    Zucchini
    Peppers
    Cucumbers
    Lemons
    Celery
    Limes

We also grabbed some lunch meat which we do not normally buy as I find it pricey but with the hot weather we are having I am not even sure I want to cook in the instant pot. Last night we had Sandwiches with Homemade Coleslaw and honestly thinking tonight will be the same. Or we have some cooked potatoes in the fridge I can make into a quick potato salad.

The story continues with our mouse saga, we thought we had caught them all, we had not seen anymore and were not hearing noises but all of a sudden last week we caught 2 more. Hoping this is the end and I can finally get it cleaned up. On the weekend we went through 2 more bags of food to see what they got into and anything they did not get into was cleaned off and packaged in Rubbermaid Totes.

Time to get back to work and see what today will bring. Have a great day everyone and those in Central Ontario try to keep cool.

I was also in no rush for him to go back as he had a good package and needed the break.
If anyone has a RCSS near them there is a great points offer. Buy a 50.00 gift card for ultimate dining which is Swiss chalet and get 10000 points. I picked up three as we are going to Swiss Chalet this week with my mom and aunt so perfect timing.
Thank-you for the reminder on the GC promo. I usually get one for Grandma for Christmas (so she can treat herself to Swiss Chalet when she doesn't feel like cooking) so I may as well get it now and out of the way and points for me Will grab an extra for my wallet too so I have it to treat the boys to dinner out soon. They like Kelsey's.

Last night was a lazy night. Didn't even make dinner. Leftovers and fend for yourself night it was. Will make up for it tonight.

DS came home with so much paperwork. I remember now that I hate the first week of school lol. He was really good and had it all out on the counter ready with a pen and a note taped to the cupboard saying "please sign" lol. I gave him $10 today to join his friends for lunch. He knows he won't be doing it all the time but I want him to have fun too and I know he is going to impress me this year and do so well so I don't mind at all.

I have tons of items I need to return to Costco so that is the plan Friday. I have sold concert tickets for the casino that night so it's worth the drive. ($160 putting away in my travel cash stash) Will grab a quick bite to eat for dinner at the casino too (free).

Tonight- Direct youngest DS on cleaning his room. Laundry. Gather Costco returns and put in vehicle. Sort Christmas bins and move to spare closet (and out of my closet!)

Write out Fall yard clean up (take down gazebo cover etc/stack muskoka chairs/ cut grass/clean up dog poop/shut off outside water

What a busy summer it has been with company, travel, weddings and new babies. DH went back to work yesterday so back to the fall routine which is very quiet at the moment. DH just took the car in for an oil change. I re-retired at the end of June but if I get too bored I will pick up some casual childcare jobs-in the meantime I have a trip to London, Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik and Venice planned for October. Of these, I have only been to London before. so I am looking forward to seeing some new sites. A cheaper trip will be to visit my sister again in Buenos Aries at the end of November as it will be early summer and warm there-so far no travel plans for 2019-but perhaps a road trip East.I had lost contact with my BF from school days over the last few years-she contacted my brother on Facebook and so now we are emailing again. Time to catch up with a few of my local friends over coffee.

I went to shoppers on that plan this morning they didn’t have or was sold out of the majority of the things I wanted. I was pissed off to say the least not to mention they only had one shelf stocker and they didn’t seem to be impressed with the lack of work from their coworkers. I spent 32.65$ after taxes and obtained 6,975pts. I am about 2,955 points away from 50,000pts woohoo. I wished I hit the 50k in points today though.

The mail woman just gave me my amazon package. And I am sitting outside its not that hot out yet is nice.

This time yesterday it was a nightmare for all the traffic and teenagers I am close to a daycare/preschool, park, and a high school.

I almost got hit in the cross walk coming home in a dangerous intersection. I looked all ways to cross, a car comes out of no where and blows the stop sign to turn I almost get run over in the crosswalk. I still have to get my meds which means going back into town I forgot about them when I came out of shoppers which was right across the street from it in the
Government building complex. I shouldn’t prolong it though...I don’t have the time to get it either Thursday or Friday.

You guys are complaining about the heat and here I had a frost advisory last night. I turned on the furnace this morning before the young daycare kid arrived, the house said 19 and it got up to 17 outside at lunch time. I covered my tomato plants last night. My phone apps said we got down to 0 around 6am. It doesn’t look like any frost got on my plants.

edit: Saskatoon reached a low of -4 last night, shattering a 115yr old record.
