@Giseledta You mentioned your plan to shop at FOODLAND for blue Friday. Question. Do you think you would get the 100 bonus airmiles for spending $100 if you hit $100 and then use coupons to bring the total down. If I can I may buy tons of the sausage on sale and use $2 coupon. Figure my boys will eat it and I can add it to pasta and pizza for them so it would help to keep meal cost down and I get lots of airmiles for groceries down the road.
If my math is correct I would get:

    100 airmiles for spending $100
640 airmiles (40 airmiles for every 3 packages of sausage. Buy 50 if they let me lol)
35 airmiles for spending over $35 personal offer.

So $80 in airmiles for $50 out of pocket?

@Frugalbigmama i would love to give you the awnser... however, my foodland dislikes ( with a passion) allowing coupons. they dont even let me use the ones they have in the store. i agree though , it would be fantastic if you could do that deal . maybe add in the buy one product and get 10 gc card deal to sweeten it up a bit

@Frugalbigmama I don’t shop often at Foodland but with the Airmiles STB promo I used coupons and got the bonus.

Thanks Ladies! I highly doubt they would let me buy 25 and use 25 coupons but the dream is there lol. And thank you for the info about the other promo!

Just realized my math is correct but I would only buy 25 not 50. So 455 airmiles total. Which isn't bad either but not as good.

Hurray for March 1st! Let's see how frugal I can be this month.

I was cleaning out my backpack last night to lend out. I found $200 tucked in behind the info label if lost! It must be there from years ago since I don't recall it at all!!! Will be visiting Winners and Mark's for sure! (I have $50 GC for Mark's and $10 off coupons so time to shop!)

Tacos last night for dinner. Lots of leftovers so DS can have those for dinner. I will make up his fav pasta he asked for tomorrow. Sunday. I think a roast and all the fixings are on the menu.

I went to No Frills last night and spend $24. I bought 2 bundles of asparagus, peppers, bananas, strawberries and romaine. I was trying to hit $10 so I would get 1,000 pc pts but had to go grab another banana since I was short 5 cents! I thought I was way over but my deals were cheap I guess! I also bought a bunch of old cheese for mac and cheese. 4L truetaste milk was $5 less $1 coupon so grabbed that too since I didn't have SDM 20X on milk offer. (and it last longer. I have a expired bag in fridge now...I may use for mac and cheese this weekend if it smells ok -its sealed so should be ok)

    Have a great day everyone!

    Afternoon all,

The sun is shining again today but it's cold, still a win in my books.

DS2 has decided on where he wants to dine for his birthday dinner, so just need to pickup his cake after dinning.

I ordered some stocking stuffers today off amazon.ca Puma socks (6 pack) at a great deal.

    Wishing everyone a great weekend!

I had the worst luck last month case in point yesterday I sprained my left ankle, bruised my hip/tail bone on left, bruised my left arm/elbow & hand. I have crutches and spent a better part of the day in ER RAZ unit waiting to see a doctor then wait for X-rays at X-ray. To be told that the curb did sure did worse damage to me then I did it. I went to the grocery store and I had my granny wagon with me and there is curb that doesn’t meld with the sidewalk there’s a lip. and next thing I knew I hit my cart then sidewalk then my cart hit me and people were trying to help me up but I was in lots and lots of pain. And crying out in pain and waited 45mins on the cold ground for an ambulance. I spent better part of the night/morning in bed resting not because I like doing that but because it hurts and hurts a lot.

I made staff today bring me up my mail from downstairs. I also tried out my crutches to go see if management was on. And tell staff I need to talk to them when they get in. I also went outside it was very warm and sunny. When spring gets here the faster I will enjoy going out when there is no snow on the ground.

I also redeemed 30$ in points yesterday.
