Well last night everyone was working/plans so I didn't want to stay home and clean so decided to go to Georgian Downs and use $75 free slot play. (they have been offering it weekly and I have only used a few times) Had a free dinner. Brought home a free turkey and swiss sandwich for my lunch today and had a great win . Was a good night.

Tonight house cleaning and laundry. Will make chicken fried rice for DS and quesidias and ceaser salad for dinner.(chicken already cooked!)

I grabbed a few Walmart magazines last night. Hope there are some good coupons and recipes.

I saved $257 this morning. I renewed my van plates for the year and I have a 20% good driver discount. I actually save more because I do the 1yr plates renewal, which is the cheapest option available.

Upcoming Ontario sales flyers posted. A few deals but mostly a fresh only shop for me. Not needing/spending much at all which is great.

And you still get it all back likely in your taxes. I paid less in carbon taxes than I got back on my taxes for the carbon tax credit. I bet you did too.

While still not knowing who won the lucky ticket shopping sprees at Ikea stores, I did get an e-mail from Ikea with new Ikea Family offers. The Brusali tv bench is $30 off until next January. I'd have liked the 3-level one (discontinued last fall? as I saw a display unit but no stock in Burlington when I was there late last year) but the two-level one is ok as well. Have to find out if there's a pre-drilled hole in the back for cords or not. It'd be a safer setup and I'd be able to get the current speakers out from under the tv now.

Productive day but I am craving pop! Lots of laundry was washed and line-dried, finally got some of the spider webs and dust vacuumed downstairs (the stuff overhead was getting to me), checked the eaves for debris, finished weeding the garden and cut the tall grass on one side with a lawn tractor (last time I used one, I was a teenager) and wiped down laundry hampers and the new cooler with wet wipes. Almost wanted a nap. Next time I use the lawn tractor, I have to wear ear protection. My outer ears took 2h to get back to normal but the inner ears are still feeling sore.

I have a snarky coon this morning. Was thrilled that only one spot was pooped on the back walk and I rinsed it off with soapy water (after 8am). Darn thing must have been in the area within the hour as it left two more poops on the walk. Usually, I find about 10 poops every single morning. I'm thinking a raccoon fur coat might be lovely for winter this year...

Wasps. Tried to evict them the frugal way with a broom knocking down the nest. They spent a week making it again. The grocery store sells wasp killer for $10.49. But today it was on clearance for $3.94. Problem solved.
Sorry for those reading who don't like nature killed.

Speaking of Enbridge, has any gas customer bought a natural gas alarm? Enbridge has been writing of them in its customer letters but I've only seen one brand/one model at CT. Last year, I was thrilled to have replaced the downstairs co2/smoke alarm but it's not for gas. It'll cost almost the same amount to buy the gas version. Wish I knew this info last year before I bought the other unit in the fall.

I think the raccoon is claiming that area as his territory. You have to reclaim the area. Use Critter Ridder as your 'scent'. Where you washed, spray the area. Reapply after it rains.

DS and 4 friends were hanging out in house since it was raining so i went out and about.
Christmas gifts purchased. 6pk socks for oldest. Nail design book with stickers for 5 year old niece amd cologne sample pack from SDM for oldest birthday. Figured it was smart to redeem $90 in points for it and receive $38 back. Plus i received a special make up bag with bonus point coupons samples and mini mascara and foundation for spending over $75.

Woohoo it’s raining today it was very hot yesterday. The days when it rains is when I go and celebrate.

Yesterday I suppose I hit 1,500 days sober from alcohol.

Yesterday I had a suite inspection then after I was talking to my key worker she showed me a medical plan of me having “abnormal behaviour”. All the behaviour listed on the form was untrue usage saying stuff like triggers for me is isolation but I isolate because I am depressed not because I am paranoid. The person who made the medical plan must have never met me because I never heard of her or met her, Its bogus. I hate when people make assumptions about me without knowing me I had a dream about being deeply paranoid which in return I woke up to someone pounding at my neighbors door. It’s 3:42am i have had 3 hours of sleep.

A couple days ago someone in the building attacked someone with weapons and they were escorted off the property in handcuffs.

I didn’t make any lists whatsoever which is abnormal for me considering my fridge is full of food but probably a collection of food I need to toss. Things seem to go bad in my fridge not that I don’t not eat them it’s just that I have lots of variety and will snack on one item at a time until there is nothing left. I do like leftover casseroles and do make them but there is no ever around who wants to eat my leftover casseroles I love my leftover casseroles there tasty and Tracy seems to dig them but when I talk about to other people it’s like they turn there nose up.

Watching the news last night there was a warning on the news about washing chicken. Spreading salmonella that way. I know being a cook you never wash your chicken but there is so many inexperienced people out there that cross contaminate with something like washing salad after washing chicken. Please please do not wash your chicken.
