Evening DH barbequed the meatloaf tonight. It was superbly incredible Did some family video chats and now listening to our spotify tunes from 2020.<br>I rec'd an email from Sobey's/Foodland with airmiles offers. I was astounded to see a "We miss you 190 AM offer for buying almost anything again". I just rec'd one a few weeks ago. It's a 15 min drive and definitely worth it for $19 bucks. I'm wondering if Sobey's bought a whole pile of cheap AirMiles during the pandemic. I'm not sure what the reason for their generosity is but how can I turn it down. Maybe we'll luck out and they'll start offering AM at Frescho too.

    Good Evening Everyone,
Oh what a day, I woke up with a headache that just did not want to go away but today was insane so only option was to push through it. Got all my work stuff but still need to write the production schedule for next week and my to do list for Monday.

I packed up my work stuff and made myself a little work station in the basement so I could help Mom. Our Laundry Tub was full of stuff that needed to be washed that we found when we were cleaning up the basement awhile ago. This way I could work away but if she needed help moving something I could help without running and up and down the stairs.

Now that the laundry tub is empty we can go ahead and defrost the Stand Up Freezer. Shouldn't be too bad just needs to be defrosted and reorganized a bit but nothing too major this time.

I think I am starting to come up with a plan for Christmas, it isn't quite the vision I had but I need to be realistic when giving homemade gifts that are perishable, it is what it is. I am working next weekend so the majority of it will need to be prepped after work house as I think we are exchanging the gifts the last Friday we are at work since we are working out of the same branch right now.

Will write a list of what I need to buy and plan my shop, depending on how my week goes next week I may need to ask Mom to do my shopping for me so I can just prep.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day

    Good morning
I have lots of baking utensils to put away since I did some baking yesterday. Kitchen is tidy but will get messy again because my younger DD and I will make sugar cookies today.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Up early this morning and got right to it.

There were a few hand dishes to be done which I did and then I scrubbed down all the counters, they were not dirty as I wiped them down after dinner last night but today I wanted to scrub them.

I also scrubbed down the outside of Dishwasher, Stove and the cabinets under the sink. The cabinets under the sink always seem to get so dirty.

Still more work to be done on the stove, we need to take the drawer out and scrub it and everything in it, but I will wait for Mom to help me with that as apparently you cannot use soap and water on some of the pans we have???? I do not know they some sort of special pans Mom bought years ago so she can help me clean that out. Once that is done I will take the vinegar spray to the stove, just love the way it shines up the stainless steel.

I did not do the fridge as I just recently cleaned the outside when I scrubbed out the inside.

I feel good all of this was done by 9 am which means I still have pretty much the full day ahead of me.

Next on my list is to scrub the bathroom down but that probably will not happen today as I do not want to push my back too far. After all the scrubbing in the kitchen I am worried if I try to tackle the bathroom ceiling I will spend the afternoon with the heating pad. I will leave the bathroom for tomorrow or one day next week.

Hopefully Mom will be up soon and we tackle the freezer, it will feel so good to get that done and off my to do list. Plus, then I will now exactly what we need to pick up on our next big shopping haul.

As of right now I think it is mostly just pantry items and mainly those ones we buy once a year as we always run out around Christmas time like Cocoa Powder and some of the more speciality stuff we do not use in our day to day baking. As well there will be a few more frozen items we want to pick up just in case. With the number staying as high as they are we just do not know what is to come and being close to some of the hot spots I think we need to be prepared. So we want to grab a few extra bags of Fruits and Veggies to keep on hand just in case buying fresh is not an option.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Yesterday at Fortinos for a mid-afternoon grocery run, I ran into a busy lineup. Store has moved its sanitation station past the pizza counter now and there's someone counting people at the door again. Was thrilled to find for $1.49 a package of 6 sweet potatoes! Usually it's pricey to buy them loose at produce. Prepped them this morning to make Greek style roasted potatoes!

This morning, friend and I did a quick Shoppers stop before the library. Lots of Coke/Diet Coke/Pepsi and some Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Sprite 6pks (if you can reach the back of the skid). Last night, Food Basics was sold out of some 6pks (Dr. Pepper and others). The stores are in the same plaza selling the pop at $2.45 (Shoppers this weekend) or 2 for $5 at Food Basics. I asked a Shoppers employee about the yummy PC Cranberry shortbread stars and she found the last box in the Seasonal aisle (not in the food aisle). Lucky! I have not seen the product at Fortinos (and I looked!).

Looked up the property listing on MPAC and seems a couple of details need updating. It was fun to find comparable properties because the ones that MPAC used for sales data are much newer or renovated than ours (but are not comparable).

Disney Card fans -I was eyeing gift cards at Food Basics but never got around to visiting their card FAQS site (just did). Anyways, the cards don't seem eligible for DisneyPlus use. But if you currently have a Disney Card account, there's a change coming to accounts in Jan. 2021, so here's your heads-up alert. https://www.disneygiftcard.com/Home/Notice

i have bananas that need to be made into banana bread too. I'm going to sneak them on MIL's counter and see if they turn into banana bread (we always joke about this and am going to actually do it today!!!)
