Morning! 2 days of work for me then I am off for 2 weeks. I am going to try very hard to forget about work and not look at email at all. (ok well I may next weekend look at email to just see what I can send on to others )

Youngest DS works tonight again so I think my plan is to play in the kitchen. Clean out the fridge and see what needs to be used up. Think I will make a pot of rice and then make him chicken fried rice. Something he loves and simple in the fridge ready to heat up and eat. And then I can use up some veggies
Laundry should be done to since I haven't done it since last week I think? I can't even remember. I have been good and wearing the same yoga pants all week lol so I didn't dirty my clothes and they are clean for the weekend So giving the house some attention is my plan tonight.

This weekend I hope to work on the yard. Hopefully the weather co-operates. And then hit the beach late afternoon. Will warn my bestie to get her work done during the day so she can join me since she loves the beach and hasn't been this year yet since she is so over worked.

Stopped at Grandma's last night to grab 2 bags of our freezer stuff (needed DS's muscles since it was all the beef!) 2 more bags to get tonight hopefully.
Freezer looks good. Will watch for deals and stock us up for the upcoming winter. Chicken is something we need. But my back up is the $5 bag of frozen at Freshco. Its actually not that bad. I have one in the freezer now that I think I will cook up tonight for DS (he likes to have cooked chicken on hand for wraps)

Costco- I still need to get there for August sales. A few clothing items for the boys for Christmas and a few food items I wanted for the freezer.

    Have a wonderful day everyone!

Well we had to buy a new toilet(main floor powder room) as the other one was leaking ,constant running or dripping of water we heard .We went for american standard (one of the best) at home depot used a 40.00 prepaid visa hubby got as a gift .It wasnt on sale but we needed one our other toilet was so small and only lasted 5 years ,such is life in a house.

This toilet is fully installed and its elongated and a normal height with a slow close lid (grandkids will love to see this in action)Our last toilet was so small (like small for our grandkids)At least we saved 40.00 and a giftcard from home depot had 12.60 left on it .So a little over $200.00 ahhh such is life .At least we got it in before my daughter and sebastian come home sat.

My dear girlfriend last year paid a plumber a 100.00 to install a toilet for her ,as her hubby passed away a few years back .I told her my dear hubby would have done it for her ,he is not a plumber but has put a few in between this house and our last house.lol

Good late afternoon everyone 31 degres now ,the ac is on.We are supposed to have rain and thunderstorms later today. Not a productive day today as it was yesterday.Just lurking in here, watching natasha kitchen videos and recepies because I want to try new recepies of salad and easy recepies for a little bit of change in my routine. Will e-mail compagnies later for coupons this afternoon of tomorrow.
    Yesterday things done are:
    -Take a shower
    -2 loads of laundry
-take the garbage and recycle out before the bins will be full again..it is crazy at it take no time!
-OMG did a major decluttering and reorganisze the fridge..to the conclusion the things wasted are always the same ..so buy less and stock less even I have sometimes coupons and good sale ..we are at 10 minutes of maxi in car so no need to stock up to much
-Reactivated for 10$ per month and charge some music to relax in my i pod

Things need to be done tomorrow
-Decluttered again the kitchen as I want to change the stove this year(23 years old outch)
-Find space to bring all the bread in the fridge for more time to eat them
-Put half of a bag of patatoes in the fridge....otherwhise we waste them and I am tired of that huh

Alright time for a nap and do something else

I have appointement to make...and I have a plan of life for this year at least!

Tomorrow morning we take possession of the new house. Dh is continuing with his regular Mon-Fri work schedule. I’ll take the kids with me to clean the house before moving in. Wash out all the cupboards, closets, fridge, etc. before starting to move stuff in. Also clean all of the floors. Might start working in the yard tomorrow too. It’s supposed to be extremely hot Saturday-Monday. The kids and I already loaded up the back of my van with pantry extras.

I’m continuing to post and sell stuff. Less stuff to move and a bit more money in my pocket. The kids and I took a break this afternoon to roll the coins that were in everyone’s piggy banks, including my piggy bank that I put the coins in from my various sales. Don’t know when we’ll go across town to deposit the rolls.

    TGIF!!!

I am feeling ready for 2 weeks vacation!! I have cleaned up most of my "to do" list at work and will have it finished for sure (I hope!!) by early afternoon. Then I can just deal with any last minute emails etc. But thinking it will be quiet since it is Friday and I'm sure others are getting ready for vacation as well.

I picked up a few more cans of chunky soup for DS. The cupboard is filling up nicely. I also grabbed another box of burger patties and 1 bag of GT fries to try in the air fryer. They were pretty good. So I may grab a few more bags to add to the freezer. Costco is my plan tomorrow I think. Will bring the cooler for the frozen items.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

I treated myself to a salad from a local deli. Garden with their famous pasta salad. So garlicky and so good!
