That reminds me of the year I put all my leaves in my garden beds, and my neighbour (who has now moved) used his leaf blower and blew all my leaves off my property and the next door neighbour beside me. I think he was bored that day

Have you checked out Old Navy or Giant Tiger? I found really nice pj bottoms at Reitmans several years back and still in great shape.

My computer is having serious issues all of a sudden. It did an automatic update earlier in the week and since then it has barely worked. I spent a lot of time today going through the contents of various folders and double deleted a lot of unneeded files. This is potentially expensive and I need it working tomorrow.

I got some Christmas shopping done at a local toy store that had 35% off everything sale. Unfortunately that business will be closing their doors by the end of January. Our local Great Canadian Oil change had a gift card promotion, so I bought gift cards. Dh took his truck for oil and filter changes this afternoon.

Christmas shopping for ds is almost done.
Twin boy is difficult to buy for this year. He really wants a treadmill because he loves to run, but those are expensive. He also wants batteries for crafts…his words.
Twin girl wants flowers…that’s her only request. I’m trying to buy her a real tiara. She is a girly girl.

@Angela273 are you able to reset your computer back to before the update. Sorry I know there is a technical term for this I cannot think of right now but I know a few years ago I had to do this as my laptop did not take an update correctly and I was able to restore it back to a previous date.

    Good Morning Everyone,
I spent some time on Pinterest last night trying to figure out a plan for Christmas, I made a little progress but still work to be done. I do not know if it is everything else going on but honestly, truly it is like my brain just does not want to go there. I think my brain is saying we cannot handle anything else on the to-do-list and let's skip it LOL.

Got up a early this morning, slowly started working on a few small things. I need to head into the kitchen and get some more things done. I took the hint yesterday morning it was mentioned since I went shopping there were no muffins to snack on. I will be honest I love muffins and do tend to make them often, they are perfect to grab on those days I have to head out the door and miss breakfast. Now to decide what kind to make, I am torn between:
    Blueberry
    Mixed Berry
    Apple Sauce

I was also thinking of doing some cooking just to prep ahead for the week. Maybe make some soup I can keep in the fridge for lunches.

I also have so much cleaning I need to get done. Would the world stop turning for a few hours so I can try to catch up a little LOL.

    Happy Sunday Everyone

Blueberry muffins won, I was moving some stuff around in the fridge and saw we had some older blueberries that needed to be used up so they found their destiny as muffins.

I left some of the Cooked Ground Chicken in the fridge which I have used to put a batch of Ground Chicken Sweet Potato Chili in the slow cooker. It will done in 3 to 4 hours.

If you have chili you need Cornbread so I have a batch of Cornbread in the oven.

Originally I had Loaded Baked Potato Soup on our menu plan for this week but I picked up a cauliflower when I went shopping. I am thinking of making Roasted Cauliflower Soup instead. A nice change since we have Cauliflower on hand.

Now what to make for dinner tonight. Maybe Beef Stroganoff, we will see.

Also CG Costco has Mondetta pants on sale here right now for 12.99-with an elastic and drawstring waist-super comfy and would even work for jammie bottoms if you know someone who goes there. They wash and dry well.

I managed to use $20.00 in coupons yesterday, I don’t recall the last time that happened. I also earned 30000 PCO and have all my stocking stuff done. Our Saturday dinner plans fell through Friday and then about 3pm yesterday we were invited to a dinner party. It’s so strange after 20 months at home to be so busy for this holiday season.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Half of the pantry has been cleaned. Shelves have been vacuumed and wiped down. Floor has been swept and vacuumed.

Two out of the three set of shelves have been re-setup. I have started sorting the food and have started organizing the baking shelf.

Is it weird to give everyone the same gift for Christmas? I bought this countertop cheese grater earlier this year for myself and love it, it does way more than just cheese. I found it locally on sale and am tempted to buy everyone, one plus a few homemade gifts. I cannot decide if this is weird?

Sassy-i dont think it is weird if you give everyone the same thing,if you like it that much why not.

I am wrapping xmas gifts -found i have way too much kiddie wrapping paper ,so will give my daughter -in-law a roll on wednesday (large roll reg 7.99 on shoppers i am sure i paid 2.00)when we go over for cara's 4th birthday celebration ,they are just having us ,she will see her other grand parents on the weekend .I kinda like just us with my son /wife and the girls .

Hubby picked up my pills today ,maybe a good thing as i would have went into rexall and spent more .The clearance socks i got last week at rexall 4 pairs fit me -so excited as i have a hard time finding compfy not tight around the toe socks for my size 9 feet.

Supper tonight ham ,mashed potatoes and peas and carrots.

No, it's not weird. One year, I found some really great boiled wool gloves. So, everyone in the family got them. Simple, practical, and needed by every recipient.
