Good Afternoon Everyone,
It has been a busy 2 days.
Yesterday I had a meeting in a branch for a project we are working on, it will change the workflow in this branch so a number of people are involved.
After my meeting I took Mom for a Chest X-Ray, she said she felt like how she did when had pneumonia, we have tested her and myself, it is negative so the doc sent her for an X-Ray as he said her chest sounded clear.
Since we were out, I decided to do the grocery shopping. The X-Ray place is about 15 minutes away so I shopped my way there and home. Mom sat in the car well I did the shopping, most stores were only a few items in and out in under 10 minutes, I got:
Food Basics:
1 x Grapes $1.48/lb
1 x Spaghetti Squash $1.28/lb
4 x Beef Broth $1.44
2 x Chicken Broth $1.44
They did not have any of the passata they had on sale, maybe next week I will check again if I end up in a branch.
Freshco:
1 x Clementines 2lbs $2.50
1 x Kiwi 600g $2.99
1 x Avocado 4-pk $2.99
2 x Eggs 18-pack $3.99
No Frills:
4 x Button Mushrooms $0.99
3 x Broccoli $0.99
3 x Orange Peppers $0.99/lb
2 x Roma Tomatoes $0.99/lb
3 x Cucumbers $0.99 + pts
3 x Sugar 2 kg $1.79
2 x NN Fries $2.00 + pts
5 x Baguettes $0.88 + pts
Loving all of the fresh produce sales this week and happy to restock our produce. But there still some additional things I needed and needed to go RCSS.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Posting here in the frugal chatter thread seems kind of silly considering how much my receipt was at Metro this morning BUT......I redeemed enough AirMiles to save $110.00 !!
Whoop whoop! OOP was $26.00. Only one of the 95 redeems will earn me back 25 BAM, but I wanted to get what I needed in one shop.
2023 had better show some promise or else!

Today I went to RCSS to grab what we needed there, I got:
2 x Onions 10lbs $3.99
1 x White Potatoes 10lbs $2.49
1 x Apples 4lbs $4.99
4 x Sour Cream $2.29
Then since Costco is right there I went to Costco and got:
1 x Croissants
1 x Hamburger Buns
1 X Sandwich Buns
2 x Chicken Breasts
1 x Spaghetti Squash 2-pack $5.99 for 7lbs
1 x Butternut Squash 2-pack $5.99 for 7lbs
1 x Ricotta
1 x Romaine Lettuce
1 x Caesar Dressing
2 x Whipping Cream
2 x Cheddar Cheese
1 x Mozzarella
1 x Greek Yogurt 3-pack
2 x Nachos
1 x Plain Chips
1 x Salsa 2-pack
1 x Maple Syrup
1 x Italian Seasoning
1 x Special K Bars
1 x Facial Wipes
I think that is all. I did notice prices are starting to creep up more at Costco, most things were $0.50 to $1 but still, making it harder to find a deal. I came in right around where I wanted to be $7 over but I had not planned on the squash or romaine (the romaine was a $1 more than buying 2 x 3-packs at No Frills but No Frills has a different branch and I am getting a lot of waste even after I dig for the best bag I can find).
This weekend is going to be a food weekend, so much I want to get done for the freezers, I am all about the meal prepping right now.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Also went to Mondoux a pet store in QC to purchase eve and stella dry food big bag...Not the same brand as the veterinary but veterinary brand too much cheaper for a big bag than the small bag at veterinary(45$)!!! But still 70$(3 x the size as a small bag), 10$ was darn taxes....But they like this brand and that seems to helps hers a little bit at least.Much better quality.

Good Morning Everyone,
Today will be a kitchen day. Lots to get done including there are still groceries to be put away, my produce bin is going to be bursting at the seams and I could be happier. I love it, so many options, oh it just makes my heart happy, on the opposite side it gives Mom anxiety when our fridge is this full.
My to-do-list is a bit next level this weekend but excited to get it all done.
Just having a cup of tea before I start my day.
Happy Saturday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good morning everyone!!!
Another sunny day!!!
I read all the posts but sometimes I dont have the time to like time all hahah!!!
So the big change with life project (school) is that I was struggling so much with mathematics that my mathematics teacher and my counsellor decided I could finish fast by not doing my mathematics.....Just a review in mathematic is needed ,finish my book in french and maybe the one I am in in English. The way to obtain the right to be in secretary at another school much bigger by the way and I will have to take the bus...such an hassle.) is to pass a test called a tdg.And If I succeed I will go directly in secretary .The program take maybe 1 year and a half at the maximun. So I have one more left month technically in the adult school I am in presently...Its stress meé.I will still get paid for my program at least. So I will be very busy noneless to said.So wow that is a chance and a change for sure!!!!
Will have to figure some lunchs idea too....Because now I eat at my appt and with the other school I cannot ..it is to far..but they have a caterer service at least.
So that was my big announcement hahahThe goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!
I love to save money!!! Frugal life hahaah !!!

So for the past week I was so busy and no ambition to cooking dinner that I saw an annoucement of my chicken farm boutique they have a back to school boxe with 4 meals for 4 persons at 69$ expensive ...but I took it because the hassle free dinners seems the best options
Everything was scelled and in portions
So we had
Spaghetti pasta big container of sauce with a boxe of pasta
Chicken chili with a bag of tex mex shredded cheese and a package of naan bread..so good naan bread
Chicken meatballs with mashed patatoes
And Pastry shells with a chicken vol au vent sauce,.
Hope to be back on track for meals planning tought...The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!
