Reminder that Zellers (2.0) launches in select Bay stores on March 23. Online website will open then as well. You might see a diner food truck at a store for a limited time.

WOW, I lost time this afternoon, not sure what happened, one minute was 1 pm and I was having lunch and doing work things, next thing I knew it was 4:30 with no plan for dinner and still work to get done. A few co-workers went on emailing sprees this afternoon but the good news is, it is all stuff I can knock out and get done.

Thinking I might do Potato Soup for dinner, quick and easy on this chilly night. I just went to move my car for Mom and then went back out as she forgot something in her car and that wind is cold.

On my lunch, I had to move my car as they did a clean-up plow. So I decided to go to the Post Office and drop off my Old Navy return, went to the Pharmacy and got Mom's prescription and ran into No Frills for a few things, I had PC Points offers for.

I wanted to get Strawberries (PM to Food Basics) but when I went shopping last week the few package they had were not good and today they had none but well I was there I did grab:
    4 x No Name Sour Cream $2 + 400 pts/$2
    2 x No Name Fries $2.49 + 400 pts/bag - These have gone up they used to be $2
    2 x Gay Lea Salted Butter $4.44
    2 x Gay Lea Unsalted Butter $4.44

I was surprised they still had stock and since this is now a good price figured I might as well grab a few more for the freezer. Butter at Costco is currently $5.49.

I did not take Mom with me to get her prescription because 2 of her friends asked her to meet up today so she picked up one and met they both met the other at her store (she owns a scrapbooking store). I can see, she is in pain because she went out but mentally she is better for getting out. I have to make more of an effort to get her out of the house.

Cath ,whatever works for you if it is day by day or hour by hour to plan your life, school ,shopping whatever.

I myself am retired ,same as hubby so take each day as it comes ,if i dont feel like shopping i dont ,same as dusting ,etc .I have a dishwasher so i enjoy that ,i love doing washing so i usually do a load each day .

Today we get the girls overnight ,we told our son we would saves us getting up at 6.00 a.m to get them on thursday .Son is working nights and daughter-in-law is working days so they need our help.I bought extra treats for the girls ,chips ahoy cookies p.m $2.29 to fortinos ,strawberries ,applesauce we may treat them to mcdonalds for supper today .

I got my 20.00 code from my surveys yesterday for amazon may use that for easter toys for the grandkids.

Good Morning! Happy Hump day. Hope you have sunshine as we do

Just looked over the upcoming sale flyers and I am happy with all the sales on fresh stuff. We will be eating very well and healthy the next 2 weeks! Will shop tomorrow and then again next Wednesday to stock us back up!
I will give the fridge a good clean out this afternoon. Will take everything out and wipe it all down and then organize it.

    Enjoy the day!

That's great that you can help out for March break. When my kids were young I didn't take the week off because at the time I didn't have much vacation time and would rather save it for summer. My mom worked when my kids were young but she did help out when she could. I was just very lucky that I had very trust worthy daycare and that she was very cheap!! I couldn't imagine paying the prices now. Then once my kids were old enough they went to camp (even back then it was really cheap- cheaper then daycare!) But like everything now-everything costs so much!

@cath007 if I’m having a particularly busy week all I do is prioritize what is a MUST DO, Should do and a CAN do.

If it’s something that HAS to be done I just get to it immediately. I set a reasonable amount of time aside and do it full force with zero distractions. For me that means no smartcanucks and no phone.

I will also be reasonable. I won’t do more than what I know is possible. If I have to move things around that are less important then I do that otherwise I can get overwhelmed and give up or be stressed beyond.

Simply put, just take one task at a time (most urgent first), no distractions, and give yourself some slack. You are only human and can only do so much.

I just made myself a grilled cheese for lunch.
Wrote out a to do list. #1 is to finish cleaning the spare room and then move my desk/office in there. It is time.

Some gift card deals are surfacing in tomorrow's grocery flyers and the upcoming Shoppers flyers! Finally-posted for Loblaws banners, SHoppers and Sobeys. Haven't glanced at Rexall flyer yet but will pop over for a glance before I lose that thought.

Last night, I finally took the remaining 1/3 cup of muffin mix and added 2tbsp of water and put the mix into Dad's small cast iron cocotte pot to bake a large cookie size muffin alongside a Stouffers dinner in the toaster oven. The air smelt like a bakery after dinner/dessert were ready! So pleased as I've been eyeing the mix bag but kept putting off using it up. Had a large tea with milk too!

Late start to Wednesday. My back was unhappy with my late-night writing and planning-left my list at home and I slept in. Slowly got moving and going. Glad I made it in as I won't be online for two days (will see how Friday's rain freezes on Sat to determine a walk or not). If Friday's rain is an issue for me, no festival jaunt either.

Anyone wanting to get PC Opt pricing on chocolate Easter treats should visit RCSS this week! Member pricing! Also a PC Opt pts offer if you spend $50 on select toy brands.

The magazine I'm waiting on still did not arrive in the mail. Well, at least I got e-mails that CRA is processing my income tax return today!
