Sadly, came across another dead bird on my path. It was hard to tell the type. Just a little cluster of feathers and then scattered body parts. I wonder if I had always encountered this many fallen avian creatures and just never noticed.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

I am so missing the new batch of flyers? Nothing posted from couponlady for NF, FB, Metro, WM or Feshco.

Holy heck, I had heard the wait times with Air Miles were bad but this is next level. Currently on hold and it is reporting a 90 minute wait which could really be more. The chat bot is useless so I need a real person because I am not able to redeem miles. Each time I try I get a declined due to suspicious activity. I have 2 factor on this so I am not concerned the account is compromised. I also change my location as I go back and forth between provinces so you would think if that was the issue it would have been a problem long before now. A call back option would be nice because I may poke my eyes out with this hold music. I may go try to redeem again and see if 4th time is the charm.

@coupon girl a similar thing happened when I went for my initial assessment of the right knee at the end of Feb 2024. I was a candidate for the replacement, they had an opening to see the actual surgeon on March 25th. Once I saw him he booked the surgery date for April 22nd! Same as you though, at that first assessment appt.I was told to drop as much weight as I could and to do these sets of daily stretches and exercises. HA HA HA!!!
I barely had anytime to breathe and collect my thoughts from Feb 29th till April 22nd, however now that it's all over I'm NOT sorry I did it. Best of luck with yours !!!

@lilo0003 I hear you about Air Miles wait time it’s brutal. You would be lucky if you get through under 2 hours . I am missing some AM but will wait the 120 days to put in an inquiry online. I miss the chat option.

For all those who think that technology will save the day, this should be an abject lesson in how tech is a BAD thing. I agree wholeheartedly how much time is wasted on things that are supposed to enrich our lives. I asked my brother the other day, 'Has anyone ever created a bot/app that can find you a human?!' Something you can turn on as your assistant (or the long-gone secretary) and just have it notify you when a human answers the call? You could have 2-4 of the darn things running, all on different lines, and you could work/sleep/whatever until the bot/app gets a signal and patches you. I swear to God that this should be able to make a zillion dollars!

Good Morning Everyone,
It is Friday, YAY!!!!! Although I have to work after we close tonight to do some uploads I cannot do well we are open.
I was in the Plant Wednesday changing procedures and in Head Office yesterday doing training and again changing how we do things so lots of paperwork to get done today.
Last night on the way Home I did our grocery shopping, we did not need much but mostly wanted Fresh Stuff as I really struggled with eating produce this week.
At Freshco I got:
3 x Mangos
2 x Strawberries
2 x Blackberries
1 x Cantaloupe
1 x Milk
4 x Fries
2 x Onion Soup Mix (I just cannot give up dip using Onion Soup mix, I have tried making my own but it just takes me back to my childhood)
1 x Rye Read with a touch of Sourdough
I also wanted Zucchini but they only had 2 and they were not good and I forgot to Price Match at No Frills.
Then I went to No Frills and grabbed:
1 x Cherries
1 x Clementines
Everything I bought was on sale, I still have Romaine and Cucumbers that I got at Costco so we are stocked up for the week to come.
I started writing my meal plan last night but did not get very far before I called it a day. Really right now, all I have is the start of my prep list, listing the produce I bought and need to prep so we eat it. I know people joke that if you don't cut it up their kids won't eat but even as an adult if it is not ready to go, I won't eat it.
Was hoping since I would be working tonight I might get a chance to take a break and maybe do a couple of things so I don't have to do them on the weekend but apparently our server has other ideas, we have done down I think 5 times now. Wondering why I got out of bed LOL.
Happy Friday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

TGIF!!!
We went for a night away last night. Used points for Free hotel, free dinner/breakfast.
Topped up the gas tank today on way home- 123.9L less .10C L and .07C L!
Came home with an extra $110.00 Cash (plus paid for tips on meals with free $)
Ate at the fancy steak house and I have leftovers for my dinner tonight (it was really good but too much food!)
Getting my niece's birthday gift together to drop off this weekend. Trying to add weird/fun things to the box (that I will wrap up) plus $40 cash since she likes shopping now
Will pop out later today and see what else I can pick up and then wrap it tonight.
I need to look at the flyers...I have no food motivation.

It was over 2 hours to get my Air Miles issue resolved. But I was finally able to redeem for gift cards. Today was grocery day as DH was meeting with friends and it saves a trip into town this way. It’s tedious because we can’t price match here so it’s Giant Tiger, the crappy Walmart that has no fresh food and then Sobeys or Superstore. Usually I skip Walmart but they had a few flyer items I wanted.

Sadly my 93 year old Mum passed away this morning-it was a good run though. You always know it is coming but never when. She had enjoyed good health and died peacefully at home so that is a blessing.

Lizzie, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Even at such a great age I don’t think you can ever be ready for it.
