Keep in mind that Darwin is at the far end of the continent, from anywhere. It is much like Inuvik, Whitehorse, or Yellowknife, compared to Canada.

Good Morning Everyone,
UGH, I do not deal with time changes well. I tried to not focus on it or overthink it but yesterday was a little rough. All day I was tired and felt off.
Kind of shocking, my alarm went off this morning and my body said okay, let's go. Although I will admit as morning person I am missing the morning sun. Just last week driving to work at 7 am the sun was up, now it isn't coming up until almost 8 am again.
I did get the fridge cleaned out, there was some pasta sauce with meatballs to go and took the garbage out. As well I checked and there was room in the bins so I was also able to take out the recycling.
I did manage to get all of my cleaning this weekend, YAY!!!! me, it has been awhile. Now to try to keep on top of it, that is the tricky part, at least for me. Only time will tell.
I did not make the steak for Dinner last night, I helped Mom with some stuff in the afternoon and then all I wanted was a nap so we did Naan Pizzas instead.
Maybe we will do steak tonight or Mom mentioned Pizza so we will see what she feels like. Yes, I know we had Naan pizza last night but we put alfredo and pesto on naan pizzas where is Homemade pizza is the traditional tomato sauce, we will see.
I also need to make the Greek Feta meatballs today but those can just go in the freezer.
We will see where the day takes me, after work of course.
Happy Monday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

I had a very frugal early morning!! Filed both our returns online with CRA and refunds will be coming soon.
It meant ignoring the cats and the bird for a while but math is hard and so is navigating on a computer.
All done for another bloody year!
Not sure what's on my plate today, there are no appointments. Cooking and dish washing has become a
challenge as of late. Turns out it's carpel tunnel I have, not an arthritic flare up. Both things prevent me
from gripping, cutting and chopping veg.
The guys seem to be fine with sandwiches and canned soups for their work meals, I cannot even butter the
bread/buns, open any of the packages....they'll survive doing it for themselves....lol.

Welcome to Monday. Sun is shining so that is a good thing!
Mission today- Get must do work stuff done.
Dinner- Cook a pot of rice and the beef strips/onions/peppers etc. Along with the leftover chicken and mac and cheese from yesterday that is the dinner plan tonight. Need to make the ceasar dressing still so we can use the romaine up. So will make sure to do that today as well so it is ready at dinner time.
Have a great day!

Majority of the work "must do" are done. I do have another task that involves the phone to set something up but I am not interested in doing that today!
I even cooked up the rice and beef strips while making my breakfast and the dishes are all washed as well! Dinner will be an easy make your plate and heat and eat. The beef is really really good (maybe because I had it marinating over night....) I should probably go and buy another slabs or 2 today.
I had to mail something for work so popped out around 2pm. Grabbed a latte and walked around RCSS to see if any deals. No deals just high crazy prices.
It is absolutely beautiful out there.

ALL the snow is gone from the front lawn and the walkway! The bright sunshine today chased every last bit of it away.

I can't quite believe I have lost 2.5 lbs on this cruise ship in 8.5 weeks! I am a little achy these days and not too hungry at the moment-perhaps I have a mild virus but who knows. Anyway not about to head to the infirmary for a $300 charge. Ibuprofen is my drug of choice. I am quite sure these 3 sea days will perk me up.

Morning!
This week seems to be moving slowly....probably because of the time change. Still, yesterday was a productive day for me.
Dinner- Leftovers. There is mac and cheese, chicken, rice and ceasar salad.
Starting to feel the need to take a vacation.....unless going South in Feb/March which is a busy time for me at work so don't usually plan this unless it is with a group I usually try and wait till May to plan vacation time. Like usual the week after the May long weekend is a great vacation time and the first week booked so far. Love doing road trips in May and June before the summer chaos! I do plan on going to visit my friend soon that lives near Windsor (such a long drive!!) and will stay a week but at least I can work while there so don't really need to take time off to go visit. Maybe in a month I will go. I'm going to text her now to make a plan!
Ok off to get this work day out of the way. Enjoy the day!

Oh @coupon girl you're the bravest woman I know!! No way do I ever want to get my left knee done after going through the right one.
Sorry to hear about your uninvited guest ( tendonitis ) , hopefully the brace helps.
In happier news I gifted my sister 5 boxes of these incredible cookies to bring to her bi-monthly Tea on The Terrace event at her condo.
She always looks for individually wrapped treats for the seniors to keep the risk low of spreading germs.
