Thankful that the nice weather is here, although some people can hold on to their winter dreams.

Finally I thought of something to be thankful for!
I am thankful for my DH ...he finally got himself together and is not being an a**hole to me anymore! I think he was very stressed and upset and took it out on me

That my dh and I have finally got everything ready for the garage sale she is having next weekend, and that I'm not as sore today as I thought I would be

Thankful that this is a good place to vent.
Do you know I would love to sit at a table with all my Smart Canuck friends?
I would so enjoy a sociable time & we could chat about odds & ends,
Can you imagine sharing a pizza that is an entire meter long?
That is just over 3 feet & 3 inches unless my calculations are wrong,
In some places this is a growing trend for an intimate soirée,
& you don’t have to leave your seat & fight traffic at the buffet,
Some of the best laughs & conversations take place at the table,
& sometimes legendary discussions play out just like a fable,
We could have one side just for the girls & the other just for the boys,
& everyone gets to pick a song that will blend with the background noise,
I’m kind of partial to a pint of lager or ale if you would rather,
& we don’t really need a specific reason for all of us to gather,
Although many of us here have never been formally introduced,
I can’t think of nicer people to chill with & have a little roost.

I am so happy Donna that you got some answers, now....can they help you with your pain?????

I'm thankful that my friends here on SC are so kind, and support each other through our old age issues, and you youngsters with issues too

I'm thankful that today, my pain is not as bad as it was yesterday! I'm thankful to be able to smell the flowers and the fresh cut grass outside my window, and most of all, I'm thankful that my family understands my pain and ignores me when I'm being a B.... toward any one of them because my meds are not helping, they love me and know when to ignore my moods. I am thankful that I have the best family in the entire world

I am thankful my arthritis has eased up somewhat - I had the worst winter/spring with my knees, ankles and feet acting up. But lately I have noticed that after the morning stiffness goes away, I am able to walk and go up and down stairs with relative ease. Carpal tunnel is still a b****, but I know things could be worse. So I am very thankful for this.

I was thinking today how I was thankful how Canadians are (generally) so thoughtful and polite. While I know in the big cities or busy freeways, there are many idiots, I see random acts of kindness and consideration many times and it's heartwarming. i try especially to help out elderly people when I can. They really appreciate even the smallest gesture.
I notice it mostly in driving/traffic how people will stop or let somebody go first or in the grocery store, helping older ones reach something or carry a bag for them. We take that politeness for granted here. Visit many other countries and you will get a rude awakening.

Thankful my summer leave is approved and I will be on break from work from the end of the work day today until SEPTEMBER 17!!!.. Im gonna be so broke this summer *(unpaid leave), but hub still works so were not gonna be rolling the pennies just yet. I am glad my employer offers this type of leave, it feels good to know I still have my job, plus I get to enjoy my childrens company during the summer.
