it's not my job to tell people what to do but i find this odd...donate it to a charity,a school,anything...this is the dark side of couponing..you already got the deal and the points, and who would buy chocolate off of kijiji? i would not trust it in this day and age,it could be tampered with and you could hurt some kid,not saying its gonna happen but there are people like that out there...i guess i just dont understand...but like someone said, its their chocolate...their deal..

Can we calm down with the judging others pretty please (with some chocolate on top since its cheaper than sugar)
Is it really that much better if they just hoard it in a crazy stockpile or eat it til they are sick? Every scenario has its issues. Personally I am a big fan of moderation in couponing, I find the cashiers treat me better as a result but someone was going to do this, it is no surprise. Couponers inc SCers have long since sold items they got cheap

It is sad that this happens at all. Personally I think it is an understatement when you say "limited number of people doing this" If it was a limited amount of people then they wouldn't be cancelling the promotion in my area. It was enough people to send Shoppers into a tail spin Canada wide.I have no tolerance for the greed and self entitlement, people can justify it til the cows come home and it will still be wrong.
In regards to being oblivious to this behaviour prior to Smart Canucks you are right. However I am not seeing the pertinence of the statement. I don't understand how not knowing makes it better.

I think this is intended for me and I realize it is not cancelled Canada Wide.I stated Shoppers was in a tail spin Canada Wide. Any who I am done ranting, I think it boils down to different people having different standards of right and wrong and it is a debate no one will win.

How can it not become a judging ground? were up to 9 pages ..it was bound to happen somewhere and roll from there. We got the ones that are frustrated about how it turned out, the ones that are actually doing it (or says it's ok) and the ones that dont really care all that much either way.. put all 3 in a pot and you got this thread.

I would like to add a comment I heard from a former director of the greater Vancouver food bank. We were discussing food security, food bank needs etc. She said it was sad and frustrating that Food Banks had become the biggest 'sugar dumping' grounds in the country when struggling families really need decent quality food. I have to say it certainly bears thinking about
So many coupons....so little time!

Everyone is right to feel however they feel.
Regardless on what people say in this thread, its all irrelevant in the end and we are wasting energy because us talking amongst ourselves is not going to stop people from doing it.

It is directed at the many posters who had threads modded or deleted as well as some that are nearing needing modding. There is one thing disagreeing with the premise of people selling (which I agree with you on) but there were some direct attacks deleted from this and other sdm threads today
