So I only bought 4 tubs and 4 notes on the 20x the points day fir my household...I don't think that is excessive. However, if I could get my hands on more tubs Oil would have gladly purchased them for work....even as many as 30. We go through a ton at work and use baby wipes instead of wetwipes because they are easier on our hands and don't leave a soapy residue like wet wipes do. "Buyers" in our department are responsible to purchase items such as wipes when thetthetruck supervisor lets them know that they are low. So 30 between two trucks in our department is considered about right for when we need stock. I am just thinking outloud here but who would they be to say I am abusing the system for points? I would be buying them legitimately for use at work, not for resale or to just sit around to "eventually get used. I only say this because even though some people maybe using most people legitimately want them......insert your view on this here.....

Sorry to hear that OP but I don't know if any of you have gone to Nivea's website and checked out the Nivea Visage Line , the Body line, the Creme line or the Soft line as the bars of soap are not included in this. Bars of soap are in a separate category under bath care. I don't believe the $3 coupon that is out is valid on this product but I guess it depends on your interpretation of it! I would just assume that if the 2pk bar of soap was part of the creme or soft line it would be advertised under it

So far are they only suspending the accounts of the people who bought Nivea or have they also suspended accounts for the wipes?

Even the manager at SDM told me if I wanted to purchase more Nivea without a coupon that I could and that there was no limit.....
... it truly seems like they make their own rules as they go.....never are they consistant with it.....Now as far as 17 packs being to much that is crazy.....Christmas is coming and I will be using those to put into Christmas baskets....I even donate stuff to the local womens shelter, food bank and now I donate to the school in the next town over for their breakfast program......Even before the Cadbury and Wipes drama SDM has done a lot of crap to people......taking back points with no warning.....as far as I am concerned they are not coupon friendly.....

I have never had a problem with coupons there. For sure sounds like they are targeting people. Not good.

Apparently it is not the store it is the main SDM...the staff at that store have always been good to me...SDM is randomly going and checking peoples cards....I just cannot see how they picked me since I never got any of the other deals like the chocolate bars or wipes....

A friend of mine mentioned that around the months right before mega redemption, HO tends to be a lot stricter... makes sense they would want to minimize people's points. Perhaps they have a ging system set up

To me this is just plain wrong....they pulled a fast one on me about 7 months ago and took a ton of my points away....it was during the spend $75 and get 18 500 points event...I did 5 transactions which were more than $75 before coupons and was awarded the points, and 2 weeks later that took them all away saying I did not spend $75 each transaction so I should not get the points...I took several days to get my points back....the said that the machine takes away the points automaticallyLast edited by sharkie; Sat, Oct 27th, 2012 at 06:02 PM.

Well, I'm in a little bit of shock...my points remain intact! I'm thinking they are looking at Nivea purchases, because I did buy several tubs of wipes (more than 20, which they seem to think is 'reasonable') because I'm 30 weeks pregnant! I don't know how they 'decide' what is a reasonable amount for a household. I personally like to have a 6 month supply on hand, because it's very pricey to run out a buy them when you run out, if they aren't on sale.
I guess it's a blessing in disguise that I was unable to find Nivea coupons
Although I REALLY wanted the $.99 body wash!

I just checked and my points are intact and there isn't anything saying that my account has been suspended. In fact, I have an extra 8000 added from a WUS $50 coupon that I used when buying the wipes! I bought 50+ wipes and 4 Nivea, but none of it on 20x day.
