Tonights dinner for 7 is a boiled chicken dinner with noodles or rice and dumplings, europes best tuscan stylve frozen veggies (which I got for free) with homemade biscuits.
DS (dear son who's 9 )wants to bake tonight so I'm thinking of frozen fruit oatmeal cookies or perhaps oatmeal choc. chip, I'll let the young baker decide when he get's home.Last edited by jasperandchar; Thu, Nov 1st, 2012 at 11:39 AM.

Tomorrow is our meatless day so either toasted western sandwiches or a Tuna casserole dish of some kind (cooking with Tuna is new to me so it should be interesting). Kids will not want to eat either so I'll ask them tonight.

I'm on a rice roll right now, thus I think I will make rice again with peas and bacon chunks thrown in. Not the greatest meal, but at least not much cleaning up afterr

last night was my dd1s request - taco salad.. so we had that and since it was halloween and momma tries to make some fun holiday type food, we had 'mummy' dogs.. crescent roll dough cut into long thing strips and wrapped around cut up weiners and baked in the oven. so cute and really good.
for tonight sweet and sour turkey meatballs (hopefully ive got enough ground turkey), rice and some carrots. i'm sure the the kids will be having halloween candy for dessert, maybe mommy and daddy too
When life hands you lemons, make a lemon pie... lemonade will be all like WTH?!?

Tonight I'm making chicken paprikash and I'll serve it over potato dumplings (my grandma used to make the best ones I ever tasted). Seems I'm on a back to my roots cooking kick.....and why not, it's some of the best tasting food out there!
I made a gluten free chocolate cake this morning, we'll have that for desert of coarse, not that I need any desert, lolWe all need a little sunshine every now and then

Some Mexican food type thing. Not sure whether you'd call it tacos or burritos (minus beans) or enchiladas. Why is Mexican food so similar yet so hard to figure out!?

I am kinda taking the easy way out tonight
I am making a chili and hashbrown casserole. It's kinda the easy way out since I have a major headache from all the moulding I have been caulking,etc... and also I am tryng to use up stuff I have in my stockpile/freezer without having to buy anything else. It's hard to not shop

I made 2 large pizzas from these pre made GF, and dairy free Sticklings Brand crusts. Expensive as all heck but tasty and easy to work with. I put low sodium turkey pepperoni on them, ( nitrates ugh! I know ) no salt added tomato sauce, lactose free mozzarella, and the veggies, and some pineapple on DD's.
Mmmmm.

Yesterday my son had said he took chicken breasts out of the freezer to thaw for supper, so in my head I had planned what to do with them. Well, when I went to cook, I discovered they were chicken thighs - so needed a new plan! (my fault for not having written on the bag)
I made chicken soup, then baked the chicken with BBQ sauce, served with mushroom sauced rice.
So tonight will be soup - and maybe something with eggs...
