GAH! Now SNOW in New Jersey?
Loved what Gov. Christie said in an interview: "I'm just waiting for the locusts and pestilence to arrive..."
It's supposed to get sunny with temps around 17C during the week....I hope so!
I didn't think we'd be driving in snow...it's been so lovely here!
Poor people having to face that now!!

Off to do more packing. How come Jenny has almost as much as WE do??
I hope GourmetSue and her hubby are ready for this, bless their hearts!!

Well, there are six porkchops, so we'd have to share - but everyone is welcome! The rest of the slow cooker is filled up with mushrooms, broccoli stalk, potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery - and I made a mushroom/tomato sauce with lots of garlic to set it all off!

Lynn, when do you leave? How long for?

It's really too bad that that area in the US got hit again!

We got just a bit of snow, but St. Albert and Edmonton, where I have family, really got hit hard by snowfall yesterday.

i finally finished a couple of projects today. have one more to try. then to clean house. and work on dinner and cleaning out the freezer. after that well.. will see what the day brings and how much time i have left.
oh btw i don't want ANY snow. so you can all keep it. no need to share. its going to be 14 + here on Sunday. perfect weather for remembrance day. would like some nice weather to see my Dad at 'his service' again. ya just never know at age 80.

Natalka, that sounds delish!!! If I didn't have to do this $(*& packing, I'd be there in a second!! With wine! And if you're good I'll even share it with you.

We're leaving in the morning...dropping Jenny off at GourmetSue's and her hubby's...then about a 7hr additional drive to Syracuse where we're staying overnight, the next morning to the Woodbury Commons Outlet Mall (where I'm thinkin' I'll get a lot of Christmas shopping done), then into NJ later that day. Our hotel is back on line, so all's well there (except maybe the snow, but that's supposed to leave and the temps should be in the mid teens, Celsius, next week.
Then we have the play "Chicago", then the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall then 2 more days of shopping...hubby wants to see the Empire State Building but I've done that already (okay, I was 12, but I don't think it's changed much), and I said go ahead!...with 10 stories in Macy's I could be there all day!
Unfortunately the 911 Memorial Site is closed, but hopefully it'll be open by the time we get there...it's one place I'd like to go to...
And now.....a little ironing to do! And...more packing...sigh...

Just got back from interview and I think it went well. They said they will call everyone regardless if you are hired or not Fri or very latest monday. Said walmart Timmins last year $82 million in sales and this year on track for $85 million. Avg 4000 customers a day weekdays and 5000 a day weekends.
