Remember it's Apocalypse Wednesday this week.
While our planet may have survived September’s “blood moon”, it will be permanently destroyed on Wednesday, 7 October, a Christian organization has warned.
Apocalypse now and again … your choice of dates for the end of the world

The eBible Fellowship, an online affiliation headquartered near Philadelphia, has based its prediction of an October obliteration on a previous claim that the world would end on 21 May 2011. While that claim proved to be false, the organization is confident it has the correct date this time.
“According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that 7 October will be the day that God has spoken of: in which, the world will pass away,” said Chris McCann, the leader and founder of the fellowship, an online gathering of Christians headquartered in Philadelphia.
“It’ll be gone forever. Annihilated.”
McCann said that, according to his interpretation of the Bible, the world will be obliterated “with fire”.
The blood moon – a lunar eclipse combined with a “super moon” – occurred without event on 27 September. This was despite some predictions that it would herald the beginning of the apocalypse. Certain religious leaders had said the blood moon would trigger a chain of events that could see our planet destroyed in as little as seven years time.
According to this new prediction, however, there will be no stay of execution. On the day of 7 October, the world will end.

Lololol...here we go again!!
I think they throw a dart on a calendar then look for reasons to predict it as THE end of the world.
As someone on a message board put it: Thank you, internet, for allowing the lunatics who used to spew such garbage on street corners to now enter our homes.
And yes, yes, it's a personal decision as to whether or not we allow them in....
A couple fine comments:
Someone should pressure these idiots to back their twisted convictions - and sign over their estates to dog shelter charities the day before
If any of them want to send me any money that they wont be needing after Wednesday I will be happy to look after it for them in case they are reincarnated.

I think people signed things over the last time. All those millions of dollars promoting their beliefs on billboards for the end of days could have been better spent on missions, benevolent funds for needy families or any other number of worthwhile causes.

Getting all the ingredients together to make vegan pineapple upside down cake for my 13 year old cousin. I'll make it Fri night and bring it when I go for Thanksgiving dinner sat. They usually have 30-40 people over for Thanksgiving. My cousin said awesome and he'll let his daughter know I'm making it for her.

Morning folks.
Feeling awful, but at work nonetheless...I am bundled up though, staying warm and cozy, and trying not to spread anything as best I can.
Going to try and get a few assignments completed and head out the door early again.
Have a great day everyone.
Leafs on tonight!

Good morning!
Well, I'm in the midst of a stupid full-blown cold, so Dan I know how you feel, but at least I don't have to go to work.

Good morning all.
@walkonby - good luck; I loved making pickled beets, but that was in another life
@cabmonk ; that sounds good. If there's any left-overs, I think there may be a few of us here that could help finish it off. It sounds like it'll be a great Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy.
@danger_dan , and @Natalka ; I'm sorry you two are sick; I see chicken noodle soup in your future. I hope you both feel better soon. You've got to kick it so that you can enjoy your long w/end.
