sadly yes Natalka. my 'real' big tree never came out. so putting my 3.5 uggglly $2 tree was a blessing. i just would rather not be reminded of the season too much. onwards and upwards from here.. i hope.

I went to do some boxing day shopping today and one store I went to wa s acomic store I had used to go to before.
What a difference time makes.
Now all their big bargains were gone, the discount was 10% only and 20% for store members, and they kept pressuring me to buy.
I left and later went to my LCS (local comic shop), there I found a book I had been looking for for over a year and ahalf, as well as an out of print tmnt collection.
Twice the discount plus at US cover price instead of canadian cover price, with bonus books thrown in as well as the best part, they asked me what I was looking for but did NOT pressure me to buy anything. I knew there was a reason I switched LCS.http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-...stRecentReview
My amazon reviews, check them out sometime!

My tree went up early and it was real so it was time for it to go. Plus it was starting to really get pollen it the air! My allergies have been bad since we got it, but it's worth it to have a real tree!
Just sitting down to watch Batman (again). lol. I shouldn't like Bane but I do! That Tom Hardy is one amazing. lol

Morning Everyone!
Been up most the night with 2 sick little ones. Rough couple of days but I think they are on the mend. They've been watching movies today (despictable me and cars so far).
DH is out snowblowing - we got about 2 feet last night! eeeep. I'm just waiting until he's done so I can leave. I really dont want to go out but need to get some fresh fruits/veggies.

Just got back from grocery shopping. Holy snow! lol
I think we got about 2 feet but with the snow blowers going full tilt, it looks like a lot more.
We live on a corner and the snow plow dumped a pile on the corner of our lot. Now there is zero visbility around the corner so it makes me leery driving out of our driveway. It doesn't help that our neighbour keeps parking in the street at the end of our driveway (opposite side of the street). Makes it so hard to get out of our driveway with their car right there and we're on a corner! I wonder if there is a bylaw?

I'm home! lol. But I have no idea about which system would be better...
My mom just got her husband a PS3 but I dont know anything about it.
We only have Nintendo here, I'd like to get the New Wii U but not for awhile. We dont play many video games so it's not worth the price right now. I hear that it's good though!
