Just popping in to say hello! What a terrible few days! On Christmas Eve pulled my back and was immobile for a few days then Boxing Day got some sort of flu, kept nothing down until last night.... Feeling better but still a tad nauseous. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

I'm actually doing a Turkey on New Year's Day. We had a bit on Christmas Eve but DS got sick on me so we left our dinner quite quickly. I didn't even get to eat. Then on Christmas Day we had some at my moms but I'd really like leftovers - they are the best part! Cold Turkey sandwiches Yummy!!!!! lol

Morning everyone. I haven't been on much the past few days, still sick. I can't seem to get this coughing under control, and I'm so stuffed that I feel like a cabbage roll, I'm trying to just ignore the symptoms, keep popping the Mucinex DM and hoping for the best. It's been over a week now.....I'm soooo tired of this...GO AWAY!!!!!

holy cow alot of you are so sick. im a knockin on some major wood here.. none of us have had anything... however i think it may be our time to shine as for a few years ago.. i was the one deadly sick 3years straight on xmas day.. so maybe my bodies had enough..

just chillin this morning.. went to bed early last night but my sons decided to stay up.. im not impressed. couldn't even get up to send hubby to work this morning . just waking up now and gettin my day set. probably just laundry planned anyway.. woohoo..

Vee hun do take it easy.. relax as much as possible. no heavy lifting etc. but keep moving even if its just to get up and get a drink of T.. i know it hurts.. but its the best thing you can do for your back. short of taking a whole whack of pills. I prefer Advil. ONLY take them when im really needing it so they actually do their job.

ya im assuming as Dan isn't at work we won't hear from him.. going to be a long week. hope all is well.

Hope everyone is doing well. The PS3 I ordered yesterday shipped this morning with purolator. I can't wait to get it soon I hope lol. We live on a rural route and the purolator driver knows I'm home during the day usually and rings the bell and leaves the package. I run down usually just in time to see the driver driving away.

Hello folks! Haven't been on here for ages! Sounds like there's a lot of illnesses which are spoiling the holidays for many! Hope you're all on the mend! Touching wood too! I was really aware on Christmas Eve when I ran out to get some "essentials" that the cashier was in major misery - sneezing, coughing - I tried not to touch what she was touching but then came the change! I've been trying to wash my hands a lot.
I'm major sick of hearing about "The Fiscal Cliff" in the States! What a horrible surprise it would be to have your income slashed in the new year if they don't come up with a solution.

We're trying to get a couple of friends over for New Years Eve along with my db - but everyone is teetering on someone's illnesses and, of course, the weather! Hope they can make it.

I'm continuing to do the massive clean-out, throw-out, file, give-out, re-think things in our back bedroom in preparation for moving our queen bed in there, moving out the single bed that IS in there and getting a KING bed in our bedroom. Then there is over-flow to our "den" bedroom and our back sunroom. - Basically - I think we could MOVE more easily!

I'll stop drivelling! Hope your weekend is shaping up to be the BEST you've had in 2012 (since it's your LAST CHANCE!)
