Good morning! Haven't had much time to come on and chat, I forgot how busy life was with both boys!!! I'm loving having DS#1 here for the holiday's It's gonna be hard to see him go on Friday...

Any big plans for tonight? We're all still sick so it'll be just another day for us. Lola, how are the kids feeling? Abby, how are you feeling hon?

Morning everyone!

The kids are both still sick. Thanks for asking Sheets. It does feel like they are on the mend though. It's just VERY slow.

I didn't finish the laundry yesterday because we were watching our nephew so I have to do it today. Just started a load, so there's maybe 4 left. Why do I procrastinate when it comes to laundry? lol. At least by tonight all my chores will be caught up.

No exciting plans for us tonight. We picked up some fun munchies/treats we dont normally buy and we're going to chill out. Maybe play a game or two and watch a movie. Fairly boring. lol. Ah, life with kids! Not that I mind, I just remember our crazy New Years' before the kids. lol. Good times!

Today is my last day before getting back to WW. Surprisingly I've only gained 2 pounds over the holidays though! My goal is to lose 40 pounds next year. I already lost 40 this year so it is possible. I'll be at my pre-pregnancy weight if I can swing it! Still can't believe I gained so much during my pregnancies. meh.

My other goals for 2013 are: Pay off debt (that's an ongoing battle. lol) and go on a vacation! I love travelling and didn't get to go anywhere this year. Between moving, the increased mortgage, DH travelling, and everyone being sick - well it didn't happen. Next year I'd like to go ANYWHERE for 5-7 days. lol. Even take the kids to Toronto (zoo, outlets, lego land, etc) would be okay.

Anyone else have any goals?

lola - great goals! I think the only one I have is to find some way to be healthier (even though I'm mostly doing everything I can), but with chronic conditions, it's always a battle, it seems.

Never really went out New Year's Eve even when I was a party girl - seemed that was always more a family evening in.

I loved it when our son was young - he'd be all excited. One special thing we always did was light sparklers in the backyard snow (never at midnight, he never made it, lol, but it was dark and still and beautiful always with the snow).

I've lost a few pounds over the past few months, not through trying really, just from being sick and not feeling like eating.

lola, I only gained five pounds when I had Milan and he was just over eight pounds - actually I was losing weight at the beginning of the pregnancy because I stopped eating junk altogether and was eating healthily. All was fine, it's just what happens when one is rather fluffy!

Glad I remembered to spend my shopping channel freebie money - ordered a clutch purse. Nothing else interesting at all... not that I need the purse either, duh.

morning..not a good night.. didn't sleep well at all. was up at 5 with hubby.. was supposed to get kids up and cleaning but went back to bed. not a good idea.. we are just now getting started.. i need to eat.. then start cleaning.. only a few hours left before hubby is home.. then maybe a nap.
my goal for 2013.. it would be for me to get my future figured out financially. i need to be a big girl put my big girl panties on and do something.
