Favourite VJ of the 80s?
JD Roberts, aka the serious CNN newscaster
Best TV show of the 80s?
LOVED Simon & Simon, Remington Steele, Murder She Wrote, Scarecrow and Mrs King - so many good detective shows that were fun.
Cutest canine on TV in the 80s?
Toss up between Marlow (mutt from Simon & Simon) and Zeus & Apollo (dobermans on Magnum PI). Of course Nero (black kitty on Remington Steele) was also very very cute, even if not technically a canine.
Have you ever used a hair crimper?
Sigh, the bane of my existence is having straight hair. Hair that goes completely straight a day after getting a perm (we won't go there). Yes, I had a crimper. I wish I could get back the hours spent trying to get my hair to look anything but straight.
Best ad of the 80s?
Diet Pepsi, anyone?
Worst fashion trend?
Shoulder pads. 'nuff said.
Cutest celebrity of the 80s?
My best friend had a poster of Michael J Fox on her bedroom wall. I had pictures of cars (have I mentinoed I'm weird). The gents I had crushes on were 3+ times my age.

I thought Flash was much much cuter!
Here in Toronto, there was a series of radio spots for a car dealership that were great. A family member (usually his mother) would complain about the dealership owner: "Al Paladini is the only son of mine with a Pine Tree Lincoln Mercury dealership who never calls his mother!"
The tagline was always "any Paladini is a pal of mine".
There was also a series of ads for Pizzaville ("it was a rainy day in Pizzaville...").

Favourite VJ of the 80s? All we had were bunny ears for tv reception so I totally missed this train.
Best TV show of the 80s? I freakin loved MacGyver. He was so hot with all that crap he could make out of the dumbest and most random things.
Cutest canine on TV in the 80s? Hmm. Would Snoopy count?
Have you ever used a hair crimper? Got one as a gift but refused to use it because that's what all the "cool" kids were doing and I refused to do anything the cool kids were doing. That was my teenage rebellion. Avoid ANYTHING popular.
Best ad of the 80s? Honestly, there aren't any that stand out in my mind. I didn't watch a great amount of tv.
Worst fashion trend? Acid wash was pretty horrible looking stuff
Cutest celebrity of the 80s? I thought Patrick Swayze was kinda cute. I imagined him saying to me that nobody puts Baby in a corner. LOL
Best song? OMG. Just one? The 80's was my coming of age decade and to choose just one is super hard but I will say, Def Leppard: Hysteria.
Worst song? Tracey Chapman's "Fast Car." Always hated that one. Still do. My DH thought for year she was a "he." He still cannot get over that it's a woman singing that one.
Most memorable slogan (aka where's the beef?) Where's the beef, I guess. Or Nike's "Just do it."
Bonus Q - can you moonwalk? Nope. But not from lack of trying."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
