Thanks Lynn, I definitely will be careful. It would be nice to have someone to do things with, especially with the nicer weather coming. I have some amazing female friends but sometimes it's nice to have a guy around Even just as a friend.

My hair is a thick mess of crap... it always grows up and out before it grows down (if that made sense) LOL!! I had a poofy thing going on for awhile, it's finally almost to my shoulders and I can actually pull it into a ponytail! I look awful in short hair, I don't know why I do that to myself. I'm going to have it thinned out on the weekend and trimmed just a little bit

Lynn, I agree... I know it will feel better! I just don't want to go til I know what I want.... suggestions from a stylist usually don't help (even though I totally respect them!) because I just have a boatload of hair challenges, and otherwise I'll just end up with a shorter version of blah!
I know I can't have a funky/modern type hairstyle, because I know my limitations - as much as I'd like to! Hey, I had spiked hair back in the day before it was fashionable!

Great, now I'm stuck on google images looking for hairstyles.....

Natalka, what about an inverted bob? I have yet to see someone it doesn't work on. I'm actually going to go back to it, but a longer version once my layers grow out

I have an inverted bob and yes you need to style it unless you have asian hair bc there hair is prefect and just styles itself lol

well its Friday. busy freekin weeked.. today is grocery shopping, garment shopping, more picture developing, then home to clean up, get two suits together including shoes, shirts and ties. work on laundry tonite, tomorrow up to take care of some business, then back home to get ready for a visitation, then sunday morning back up for the service.. we should be ready for bed by lunch.

Bub, that's what I've keep going back to as an idea, to do that at shoulder length - it'll be a change and feel good anyway!

A bob of any kind doesn't work at all with my hair - no amount of product or styling can make it work..... it would go scraggly.
Gosh, would be nice to be back in my 20s and 30s when I tried all kinds of things with my hair! Now, it's limited.

But, bub, I think you got me on track, here...
