I gained 4 Ibs in the past week. Just wasn't a good week with not getting that job I thought I would and now having to decide if I'm going to put my cat down or not. She's barely eating and now weighs 5 Ibs.
A job agency called today and I have to go in tomorrow for that, so there's that, but then again, I went there a few years ago and didn't hear from them again, which is the norm for me, as I've been to numerous job agencies. It would be nice to get this job I'm going in for, as it's data entry, which I have experience in, and it's a permanent full-time job.
I'm pretty much going to start over with this challenge again. Perhaps tomorrow. I don't know. When I do start, I'm going to do the couch 25k program, but indoors, as I don't feel comfortable running outdoors and also some other exercise apps/games I have. I have it all scheduled. I just need to do it. When you're like this for sooooo long, it's hard to change and not sleeping more than 8 hours a day. I just can't seem to get off the 10 plus hours. I slept 15 hours last night. Ugh.Last edited by curt81; Mon, Mar 4th, 2013 at 03:00 PM.

good luck to everyone here. you have my moral support for this.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

WOW I wish I could get 15 hours of sleep.
I have decided to just be happy where I am for now because life is way way way to busy., I thought March would be my month. I was going to try to clean up the house so I could start working out again, I was going to budget my time better so I would have more time to make more homemade foods and than it was announced that we are opening a new location at work. Which means for the month of March I will be rotating between two locations well other staff members are helping prep the new location.
On that note Dad emailed me last night and asked me to bring some display boards to the office. I knew it would be a little bit of a work out, but I have no idea just how much of a work out it would be. Turns out there were like 50 of these things in the basement I have to haul upstairs, they were not heavy but wow were they awkward. Good news all were hauled up and loaded and taken back to the office and off loaded. Muscles I did not know I had now hurt and I have to get up at 5 am tomorrow to work at one of our other locations.
Looks like I might end up losing some weight after all. We are still are not done the sample kit project which involved hauling those up from the basement and the other location I will now be working in we are at a counter not a desk so I will be on the go all day. We will see how things go but I have no high hopes so I cannot be disappointed,

I have been blessed with the flu. This has been good we for me...lol.
Trying to decided whether I can go into work tomorrow. Don't want to take a day off when I have only been back for four and March Break is in two, but if I am sick, I am sick!"There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Hugs to curt. We put down our kitty a year and a half ago, knowing we took away his pain (probably cancer) helped me to cope.
I just had a rocket popsicle. It was the best thing I have eaten all day. I am using this as a fresh start...I've had no junk since Monday (well ginger ale and the popsicle, but I think that is okay given the scenario). Wow, everyone, sorry I have not been on much, work has me aching head to toe. Come home feeling so dragged out...where did the 8 hours go? I remember getting there before 5:00 a.m. but I almost never sit in the whole shift ( except my lunch and 10 min break) before I know it it is time to leave! I know it is only the first week back after sitting on my duff since Xmas and I deserve this for being so sedentary, BUT c'mon!! It is Thursday already but feels like every muscle is hurting!
On the food side, I've been both really really disciplined and really really naughty this week, so I shall see what Mr scale wants to do tomorrow. Have reduced the intake of coffee, some days zero!, other days 1 cup ( 8 oz black ) and replaced it with Dandelion Root Tea ( black)
Good luck tomorrow everyone!!
Curt my sympathies for the loss of your cat. kw01a1...you sound as rotten as I feel. Hope you get over the flu quickly and get to enjoy March Break!

I was wondering where you got off to. I would always read all the fabulous meals and deserts you would eat posted in the what's for dinner thread and just assumed that you decided to drop out of trying to loose any weight. I'm happy you are back here, soooo, We have a rule......NO EXCUSES.....we all take responsibility for what we do, and eat. I just know you can do it if you put your mind to it girl, now get back on the bandwagon! Oh, and have a fabulous Friday

I was wondering how you were making out with getting back to work after you holidays. Isn't it just the worst. Sorry your aching from head to toe, I hope everything gets back into routine soon. It's funny how quickly our bodies loose muscles we only use when doing our jobs (well that's not exactly true, we use them for other things too, we just used them much more when we're at work) but they come back very quickly. I've been MIA a lot lately so have lots of catching up to do. Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday....now lets see all those stats people. I will let you all know that I too have fallen from routine for the past few weeks. I've been feeling very lethargic and my body has been aching a lot (which is unusual when I'm down south it's typically much better). No excuses, just haven't felt like cooking much so our meals have been uh....not the best. Mostly only salads and a sammie or something like that. Not a lot of protein and carbs, thus my weight is not doing what I want it too, I've lost 8.5 pounds that I've fought so hard to keep
I haven't been at the gym in over 3 weeks either. No excuses here, it's my own fault, I NEED to get back into routine!!!! I sure hope everyone has better results today than I have had. And, for those of you who are mad at me because I have the exact opposite problem to you, please don't be. I wouldn't wish my health issues on anyone, it's horrible to struggle for every ounce of weight. You feel like CRAP and people think you're anorexic or something like that.
