Apparently our water heater is broken. DH just called and they will be out tomorrow night. Nice. DH leaves tomorrow morning. Sigh

Glad the parties went well, girls! I always make WAY too much food for things like that... it's kinda nice to have the leftovers though, saves cooking a few meals! Is there anything you can freeze?

Well, we had a productive day... we got a pug puppy!!!! Hayden was so excited- we've been talking about it for awhile but never said anything to him in case it didn't happen. Anyway, she is the cutest darn thing and she has settled in already... I just adore her

Lola and MrsS - so very glad your parties went well!

Well, my day turned into crap this morning - I had gotten up from the computer to close a window blind, and as I reached across the printer, my back protested very loudly, and I was frozen in pain - had to call my son who was sleeping downstairs to baby-step me over to a chair, and I'm in agony... Seems to happen every few months, just a very small thing can trigger it, yet it takes days and meds to get me through the days following.
So I'm not a happy camper - but I came by here just so I could sit in a different chair for a little while - I'm trying to rotate positions.

Oh, Natalka, so sorry that happened to you; I have that same condition so I totally understand that piercing pain and thank heaven that I'm not alone when my back locks up. I hope you have a happy med that touches that pain...lots of rest, Hon, and don't rush getting busy again...Does a heating pad help? I know it only helps while you're using it, but anything to kill that pain....hugs, Hon...

sheets - YAY for the puppy!

Well, my back is crap - and I'm doing all I can to keep it somewhat stable, but it's horrid. It was nice having my husband and son around for help yesterday, but I'm on my own for the day today... I've already tried a host of meds to see which works best - no magic, though!

hope you start feeling better soon nat! back pain is no fun whatsoever. my FIL pulled his siatic (sp) nerve about 6 years ago and ended up having back surgery. he just did it again a few months ago. it's awful. he's going to a nerve specialist today. (he developed foot drop as well).

we went to petsmart on saturday to look around and walked out with a fishtank lol. it's just a 6gallon one but its circular..kinda cool. the girls got some fish yesterday...'tic toc', 'tink' and rapunzel. a peterpan fan and a tangled fan hehe.
