    NOT FAIR!!
    I really, really planned on being a very good girl this morning, have my oatmeal (love the stuff, actually), but what happened?
    Our DD phoned: she and her DD took the day off today, so they invited us for brunch. At Tutti-Frutti. Where there is nothing (Don't argue with me! There's nothing! ) that's good on a diet. So I had the spinach crepe which was very nice, and lots of fruit, but lordy...I know it had more calories than my bowl of oatmeal.
    So tomorrow is another day....and I will be good!!!

    It's now official.

    Half of the population of Quebec could lose some weight, and of those more than 3,000,000 people, 1,000,000 are considered obese.

    The numbers are contained in a study carried out by the Quebec Institute of Public Health.

    Between 1987 and 2010 the number of people considered obese in Quebec has doubled.

    The World Health Organization defines obese as having a Body Mass Index of 30 or greater.

    Institute doctors say obesity is associated with a greater risk of developing health problems including Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer.

    Curt....NO man can pull that one off...lol...and if he did try, I'd suggest he do just that: pull it OFF!!

    Well, I'm attempting to be good today, but tomorrow....one volunteer luncheon, and later, a volunteer dinner with cocktail hour. Sigh...it's a conspiracy I tell ya!! And I'm SO disappointed in myself for not being stricter this past month..I'm paying for it and I don't like it. Phhht!

    I'M BAAAAAACK Good morning everyone, I only read back a few pages, but it seems like everyone is trying very hard (with a few cheats here and there which is totally acceptable) to keep on track. I'm so very proud of all of you. It hard, it's depressing, it seems some days to be totally impossible, but you guy's keep doing it. So a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of you, you guy's make me so proud. I'm so sorry I haven't been here as your cheering section for a bit, but I ran into some unforeseeable (well maybe not) circumstances, but I'm back to cheer you all on, so lets get going!!!! You're all doing amazing so please, keep up the wonderful work and don't be so hard on yourself when you slip up, it's OK, we're all humans (I think???)

    Hmmm something definitely not working right for me this week, up 2 already maybe water retention not sure. I have been working outside on my deck for the past 2 days replacing boards and the railing yesterday sanded most of it, today will be replacing the stairs and hopefully paint in a couple of weeks once it dries out a bit.
