Gave our old fella his weekly bath again. He is getting to dislike it more and more. In fact, as soon as I take him upstairs he starts crying his big sad meows. Breaks my heart but he is a burrito cat wrapped in a big fluffy towel next to me.

^^ You are brave lol. When we adopted our first cat, we gave her a bath.....badddddd idea lol. She HATED every second of it. She tried clawing her way up hubby's arms to get out and her cries were like a dying child!
When we went to the vet 2 days later, we told her, and she just laughed at us. She told us to not worry about giving her a bath since she's only an indoor kitty and cats are usually meticulous about cleaning themselves. I was very glad she said that because I don't know if I could've done that again lol.
But, I get what you mean about burrito cat -- they're really cute after they're all wet and wrapped up like a burrito lol...kinda makes me want to bathe one of them....hhhmmmm.....

^^ oh, we know indoor cats don't typically need baths, but... he is old (18 years old) and handicapped so it is very hard for him to clean himself. Top that off my his new habit of falling asleep propped up on his water dish, and he needs a weekly bath.
But after his bath last night he fell asleep in his burrito towel after awhile, laying under the blankets with me... I guess he forgave me.

Awwww poor baby His weekly baths definitely make sense!! I bet it drives him nuts that he isn't able to do it as well now, our one cat is OBSESSIVE about cleaning herself....don't interrupt her ritual lol.
You should try and post a burrito pic sometime!

I have a kitten here who jumps in the shower EVERY single night when my daughter is having a shower and she doesn't come out till she is completely and utterly drenched and the water is dripping off her. She LOVES water. Gets mad when I try to towel her off. Never seen anything like it before!

Anyone want Ginger Cookie (yes, that is what I've started calling him - I am weird). He is a friendly ORANGE(!) double-pawed stray that will jump in your lap and just hang out. A woman walking by our place told us a different story about whose cat he is. Apparently he belonged to the tenants who lived in our apartment before us - but this is now three different stories I've heard. All I know is that if he stays around in the winter I want him inside... I've always said I wanted an orange cat, but the timing is not ideal, that's for sure.
