Just grabbed a loaf of Wonder bread and hot dog buns from the 50% off reduced rack. Will make a batch of French Toast for DS and the hot dog buns are great for when I have extra kids to feed which I'm sure I will. Have wieners to use from the freezer!

Hope everyone is staying cool, I need to dig out the air conditioner from the closet under the stairs, you know the one where everything & anything gets thrown in, you move 1 thing and the the pile starts to wobble as you slam the door

So LO woke up right after we got back from that walk this morning. I still have not gotten a nap. We went to WM. Some teachers at our local High School are collecting donated gowns to send to Alberta because a lot of girls lost their grad gowns. I drop off my lilac maid of honour gown. They took my e-mail address down in case one of the girls want to send me a thank you email with pictures. They already had 106 dresses and many more were on their way. Purolator is donating the services to transport the gowns.

I got the funniest coupon in the mail today. I'm less than one month before my due date and I received a $3 coupon for a pregnancy test! It's supposed to be "so accurate...tells you how many weeks".
Now if only they can invent a stick to tell me when the baby is coming so I can make sure I'm not standing around in a grocery store on that date!

Hello folks! Now the fun begins with the kids out for summer!
I went to Senior's Day at SDM twice and managed to get 2 = $10 gift certificates and I spent the $10 bonus wuspend $40. I used quite a few coupons and got 4 Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner for .75 each after using the $3.50 off wub 2. I am happy with the shop and we're set for some items for quite a while.
We received a $14 cheque today from Home Hardware - a rebate on 2 cans of paint we bought to do the deck.
I got an "Enfamil" package delivered today - I'm putting together a gift for my cousin who is having a baby in July.
I started re-organizing my bedroom cupboards today - long story.
I took outside the plants that we housed inside in the winter. - Two giganitic Aloe Vera plants - spider plant and a pot of some kind of purply-green vine that, I hope, will do better outside than in.
Frugal tip of the day: pick up "end of the season" plants that will start appearing in the next couple of weeks when the Garden Centres close. You can pick up some pretty cheap perennials. My garden is like a crazy quilt made up of all kinds of "end of year" stuff. I need some more summer blooming perennials.Last edited by avoncallingu; Fri, Jun 28th, 2013 at 12:39 AM.

Good morning everyone!
Sick day at home for me. Still debating on whether to head to the walk-in clinic or just take the day to rest. I feel pretty silly going in with a cold, but my throat seems to have gotten worse in the last 12 hours and I started losing my voice last night which is now completely gone.
Your thoughts ladies?

Funny you say this. Last night I received a local hand delivered train. It's common in my city to do trains including both coupons and samples as they are hand delivered to the next person anyways. Well in the train there was a regular size sample of the NeilMeid Nasal Mist, how perfect is that!

OH happy day, it is finally Friday. This has been a super long week and I am pretty much ready to collapse. My guy's sister has said he is doing well, but I have still not been able to speak with him. Not sure what the plan is yet for the weekend. I have asked his sister to ask if he would like a visitor it will probably depend on how he is feeling.

That's too funny! You could save it for next time???? (I'm sure you don't want to hear about that right now!) Best wishes! Maybe you and Kate (Duchess of Cambridge) will give birth on the same day! Imagine the whole globe celebrating your child's birthday - I bet there'll be some freebies around THAT!
