operabob, please explain pre-pay. Have never heard of this for food.

Many of us have done this in the past when shelves have been in short supply on some AM offers.

On a B6G50 for example with only 3 items left you take them to the cashier and say you want to prepay for the other 3 to get the AMs.

The cashier will charge you for all 6 and issue you a rain check for 3 already paid for. That way you get the AMs.

Then at a later date take the rain check with the 3 items to the cashier.

    Should work on the Yogurt.

    wondering does anyone know:
How many air miles to buy Best Western GC.

My sister cashed in air miles for a room (Houston, Texas)
BEST WESTERN PLUS JFK Inn & Suites 692 airmiles per night . first night 35.22 second night 12.62 there is a 22.60 booking fee.
Not sure how good of a deal this is.

    GCs are 950AM/$100 Canadian.

The 692 is about $73 Canadian.

Best way to check the value you got is to cross reference on BW's website on that date.

There is no booking fee with GCs.

That's really neat. What happens when you pre-pay. Do you get to pick them up at a later date? And how do they know? Thanks. Well I see your answer in the above post. Didn't look before I wrote. Its late. LOL

If you book online or through the phone they ask for a credit card number but I just pay with the GC at the hotel.

Just to be on top of any potential problems in the "Special Requests" section just indicate you're going to pay with a GC.

Kellogg's cereals in Alberta are on sale for $4.99 and the Brown Sugar Mini Wheat had the gas gift card offer. Thankfully hubby will eat the brown sugar one but I only bought 2 of them and 3 of the regular for the 100 air miles. I also had 20 airmile wub2 kraft jam and wub2 kraft pb as well as 5x when you spend $60 coupons (was also able to double dip this with the offer in the flyer). I ended up with 167 airmiles and spent about $67.

I didn't notice it at the time but I used B1G1 for the herbal essences that was on 3/$5 and it turns out that she entered the regular price for the free one which was something like $4. I sometimes think their club card causes these issues because the till doesn't show the sale price when scanned.

A heads up for everyone It was noted earlier by either ron or vegas that they used the 5x mailout and an extreme 250 bonus together. Well I did the same thing with a mailout 5x and instore Amazing bonus 150. Both showed up as credit on my receipt.
When the jerks posted my airmiles on my account they took off the 150 and kept the 20 on there. It would have been nice if they took the 20 off instead of the 150, but no of course they take off 150. Grrr Airmiles really makes me angry. I would avoid doing anything similar in the future as it looks like they are looking for anyway possible to screw collectors.

Since Friday I seem to be getting all my missing and promo airmiles from the 25x event on airmiles shops, it's nice to see my balances finally moving upwards!

Still works out slightly better than getting gas at superstore or Safeway for me, but not by much. They really devalued this promo
