That is so awesome. In my Super C in Qc they will be on sale at 3,00$ ,I hope to get a few and pins can give more!!!! Also anyone know a coupon for those? I saw a coupon zone 1$ off wub2 but I cannot pm this sale because the product is not pictured, and the 1$ one for save.ca seems to be for the regular ones? But if you want some regular one they will be 1,88$ a box at least in Tiger Giant in QC if you can put the 1,00$ on top of that, that is an awesome deal to have!

On Sunday we took the kids on the Ferry to Wolfe Island and we were quite disappointed (nothing to do there) and we did not fit on the 1st ferry back to Kingston so ended up having another hour to kill. We were glad to be back in Kingston after that, we took the boys go karting and then to the drive in to see the Smurfs2 and left Monday. So overall a steady but relaxing pace which I prefer instead of the hussle & bussle of traveling.
Kingston is beautiful. I lived there as a kid when my father was still in the army. Some of the most beautiful looking buildings were the penitentiaries, oddly enough. Haven't been there(Kingston, not prison) in almost 25 years. Would love to visit again one day.

Just arrived home from our 3 week house exchange-we had lots of fun. Looking forward to buying cheaper gas and groceries here and no provincial sales tax. I really don't know how people afford to live in Vancouver with the price of housing, gas and groceries. But very nice to visit and these people really over did it in terms of replacing anything they might have used in our home!

Morning all. I'm trying to check things off my To do list today there are two getting done. Me getting myself to the DR, and dropping off a technology application for my son to his pediatrician to get signed (for an Ipad for him). I have one more big thing to do and that is complete my appeal from waaay back in March for OHIP to pay for my surgery. Its funny how we always push things for ourselves back! Going to stop at the grocery store on the way home and complete my groceries for the week. What are your plans?

Today I hope to get some more crocheting done. Yesterday we went to buy DH new work boots. I`ve been thinking all summer that I should get a new pair of sandals. The ones I have aren`t that comfortable anymore but I kept putting it off because I can only wear SAS and they are so expensive. So between the 2 of us we spent almost $400 on footwear. Definitely not a frugal day.

    Good Morning, well Afternoon All,

So last night I tried to take mom to walk-in clinic because he has hurt her knee (did it on the weekend but would not admit until yesterday when she could barely bare weight on her leg something was wrong) and our doctor is on vacation. Well we only have walk-in clinic within a reasonable distance (15 minutes) but it closes at 5 pm (great I know everyone complains there hours are 9 to 5 Monday to Friday, no nights, no weekends), so we get there at 4:50 go in and it is all closed up but there is a girl sitting at the desk (to close the clinic they just pull this mesh door across) mom comments on the fact it is before 5 and they are closed and even asks the girl a question, the girl just keeps looking down and refuses to even acknowledge us. So I try to talk mom into going to one of the other ones (about another 20 to 30 minutes away) no go. So we went out to dinner instead, not sure what happened but I got pretty sick last night (think it is just my body trying to get used to food again, it is hungry but a little thrown off by the actual taking in of food). So needless to say on a hurt knee she can barely bare weight on she is making a wedding cake today and tomorrow, wow this should be fun considering last night she could barely limp on it.

I have taken a look at this week's flyer and I gotta say there is so much I want to buy, especially a lot of items that will use up some of my August 31st expires. Not quite sure how I am going to do this as I am working this weekend and mom has to deliver this wedding cake. Normally I would go alone and do the shopping but I am not sure I am up to it especially since I have to tell my Dad on Saturday it is over between me any my ex-guy because we have a family function next weekend and I know someone will ask and yeah not my idea of a good time as I know some of my family members will try to "joke" about it but sometimes the "jokes" aren't funny and the chances of my ending up tears is pretty high which will only bring on more "jokes". I thought about skipping it but know that will never fly so now I must deal with the fall out.

So much to do and so little time. Yesterday was a busy busy day. Tonight should be home by 7 I hope. Up early again tomorrow to get DS to hockey camp and then looking very forward to a lazy Friday night! We will cook a nice dinner I'm sure but we enjoy that so it will be part of the relaxing night. Saturday we are planning a beach day. Looking forward to that very much

After I went to Burger King and got a 5$ giftcard because I was mad they mess with my order.
Also got my 4 got2 be products for free after the coupons and will try to find more cereals with pins .I miss 2 deals this week,so not so bad at all I think. I really hope for more managers stickers on appealing products( cross fingers lindt chocolate)

Cath love the Bodycology,i often find the body spray and the lotion at SDM on liquidation so when i do find them i snap them up.Sorry to hear about Burger King never liked this place at the best of times seems they always mess up the orders ,you are not the only one

Today I am feeling pretty lazy after an 11 hour drive home yesterday. However am doing laundry, tidying, going through the mail etc. Should really hit the grocery store but I think we can manage until tomorrow when I should be more energetic. We also need to paint one bedroom as we are having a 10 year old Korean student arriving on Tuesday to stay with us for the school year and learn English.

On my newborn's schedule, I stepped out to the grocery store one hour before closing to see if they had any of the bread on sale left (of course, they didn't). I checked out at one of my favourite cashiers and she noticed and my new haircut (from a month ago). Actually, another cashier from a different store mentioned it on the weekend. I found it funny that two cashiers noticed, while several co-workers didn't. I wonder if that's a reflection on the modern workplace.

With the new baby, I do miss going out to see my favourite cashiers. It's sort of like a favourite TV show where I return at the same time and place each week, but with cashiers; just to say hello, maybe drop off a few coupons to them, and wish them a nice day.

I now know what my co-worker meant when she said she loved her family, but missed being able to go out whenever she pleased, on her schedule and no one else's.
