I feel sorry for his wife. She must be humiliated. Bad enough having to live with the guy, but now all of his extra curricular activities, then having him talk like that about her on tv? Wow.

I used to wonder why his wife kept herself out of sight for the most part but those comments have illustrated how little Ford actuallly seems to care about her as a person rather than another part of his image fostering.

I wonder why Ford has to sue his staffers for calling his 'friend' a prostitute rather than the lady herself doing the suing...

His wife seemed to not want to be at the news conference today - I noticed her huffing and puffing as he talked and she was not at his side but almost removed from him. I don't know I think if I was supporting my husband through the most "stressful time of his life" as Ford put it I would be right beside him, glancing at him as he spoke and maybe even holding his hand to show the media just how close we were. Someone get this guy a new PR !

I'm angry that people are making such a big deal of this and focusing all their attention on this and ignoring Kathleen Wynne's scandals. Rob ford, whatever he's done, the impact ends when he leaves office. But with Wynne ( and McGuinty) the kids I have will be paying for their actions which have brought financial chaos to Ontario. And wouldn't you know it, Wynne is being investigated by police over the scandals. And the media didn't report that at all. Double standard much?

You think Medicare rolled out here smoothly way back when and WITHOUT the aid of computer registration. Imagine that.

Obamacare will get fixed and in 5 years no one will remember when 40 million people risked their livelyhood just to go to the doctor.

Trust me gryphon, Rob Ford isn't the only thing being reported on or discussed, scandal upon scandal is being discussed. And lest we forget that for a time the Ontario gas plant debacle was the only thing that dominated the news.

Right now it just so happens that Rob Ford is the news of the day, but he really has himself to blame for that.
