I couldn't get into the Graveyard Book. I do think it would be a good movie however. I like his picture book, The Wolves in the Walls. I read it to my class each year.

the graveyard book is amazing! normally i steer clear of fantasy stories but the little boy's story is compelling.. so far he's been kidnapped by ghouls, been rescued by a werewolf, and made friends with a dead witch.. and he's only about seven

i've started dean koontz's latest - innocence.. can't get past the third page.. not because it's boring, but just because i'm so tired at night that i fall asleep after a few words.. must put some time aside this weekend for it

Just finished Monument 14: Sky on Fire. Awesome book, its the second in the series.
Trapped in a superstore by a series of escalating disasters, including a monster hailstorm and terrifying chemical weapons spill, brothers Dean and Alex learned how to survive and worked together with twelve other kids to build a refuge from the chaos. But then strangers appeared, destroying their fragile peace, and bringing both fresh disaster and a glimmer of hope.
Cant wait for the 3rd book to come out.

I'm currently reading the 13th book of Alex Cross' series by James Patterson - "Double Cross". I love the whole series, it's addictive, I can't go to sleep before I turn at least 100 pages.

Seithe, by Poppet
Shar, by poppet.
Both are *ahem* adult reads. excellent books! Seithe is the first of a 6 part series, and every book in the series is really good. in fact, it was supposed to be a 9 part series, and honestly the author could have definitely pulled off the extra 3 books.
Shar is a 3 part series, i think. I have only read the first 2, waiting for the 3rd to be free or reduced in price at some point.
All of her books are good. Darkroom is free right now for Kindle, but unless you like twisted and disturbing books, don't read it

Bonded, by Nicky Charles.
The bonded series is good. It is also usually available for free, because the author writes as a hobby, and her goal is to always make her books available at no cost. Although i don't believe it is free 100% of the time for Kindle, it certainly is free most of the time.
Bonded is the first in the series. the characters and writing are good. again, there is some adult stuff in there

Francesca of Lost Nation, by Lucinda Sue Crosby.
I have seen this book for free a couple of times for Kindle.
The story is about a free spirited woman, told through the eyes of her grand daughter.
It is a nice story, well written. In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts
