due to health problem , my mom lost her hairdresser for a year ...she wanted a perm but needed a haircut first...as i cut DH hair for many many years now , i told her i was able to do the haircut but have no experience with the perm....my aunt was supposed to do the perm.....
both were set for today....this morning, proceed the haircut....i find i had done a pretty good job and told mom ''in my opinion, she doesn't need the perm for now as a part of her hair is still curly and looks nice''
finally she and my aunt agreed , she had a nice haircut and postponed the perm.....
sorry for the long story....just to tell you......that makes my day !....i'm thankfull that mom was pleased

Oh, how wonderful, Skippy!
I've been 'forgetting' to be grateful as there are many giant obstacles in our life right now - but yesterday I really was reminded that remembering the little things to be thankful for really do help get one through!

I am thankful that LO slept well last night. He just finished his second round of antibiotics for his first ear infection. I got 9hrs sleep last night. Here's the funny part. I heard him talking in his crib and eventually got up to get him. He didn't want me to pick him up. He was having too much fun playing and bouncing in his crib...which has NO toys in it. I checked on him several times until I eventually bribed him with breakfast to let me pick him up out of his crib. I thought it was quite a funny start to our morning.
