I bought most of items at regular price today at Sdm,
Not really good sale.
Omega eggs not on sale, reg $3.99
Bread not on sale,reg 2.99
Half and half cream milk $2.69,small 473ml carton.
But i redeem my points 2200 points and got 5000 points back.
Still good for me because using my points every thing was free though.

I always prefer paying less OOP
$75-$20 = $55 for 75$ wotth of stuff you can still brong thr $55 down with manufactureres fpcs etc
But only if theres $75 worth that you need
Many times I struggle to get to $50
With the $50 bring your bill up to $50 before tax (subtital to check)
then lower your bill with $ off coupons
Really it depends on if you need tbis much stuff I generally buy milk and eggsJOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

I got 20x when you spend 50. Disappointed as it is my B-day week so was expecting something better than that. My son got 8000 points free on his B-day week.

I agree with Anna Michele, it really depends.
The way I calculate their offers, these two are almost identical in "value":
The save $20 wus $75 means you pay $55 for $75, get 750pts (which is $1.34 at the $170 redemption rate). So you spend $55 for $76.34 worth of stuff paying 72%.
The 20x wus $50 means you spend $50 and get 10k points ($17.89 at the $170 rate), So you spend $50 for $67.89 worth of stuff paying 73.5%.
So if you redeem on bonus days usually, the points are worth more, if you redeem in smaller amounts they are worth less.
The true value comes from the price of what you are buying, whether you really need or want it and what coupons/bonus points options you have now vs later.
I find when I can't decide, I don't spend anything as there is always another deal, especially with Shoppers. Dh leans the other way, he doesn't
want to pay full price or wait for the next Shoppers promo just to have milk in the house.

My DM got spend 50,000 points get 15,000 points back for her birthday last year - her balance was around 60,000.
I got 4000 free points for my birthday, my balance was around 12,000. If you read back, I believe a few other people mentioned that they had less than 50,000 points when they got free points for their birthday.
This could just be coincidence though.
