My husband is my stress relief. Sometimes it's talking with him, sometimes it's just snuggling.
If he's not here, the kitties do a great job. There's nothing like cuddling a purring cat to calm me down.

I take a run in the mornings. I also like to go to the gym, great for reducing my stress.

As the song says, I hang out on the rooftop patio with my girl. We both enjoy the view.

For immediate stress relief I try to walk away. For long term I evaluate each situation and deal with it on the level it merits. SO many things are not worth it, thinking it over before acting has helped me alot.

I bake...bread is my favorite, I can knead the crap out of a loaf and it doesn't talk back...well not usually, if it does I just give it a high five, right up the side of it's flabby bottom
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Hm. If I'm stressed about a particular thing, I meet it head on, deal with it and let it go bye-bye.
If I'm just in a generally anxious mood.....I find some meditative music on here and play a game, snuggle with Jenny and get lots of kisses, or talk it out with my hubby. He usually suggests things like dinner out, a movie, etc, but when I'm in one of those moody-blue times, or stressed out for no particular reason, none of those appeals to me, so we put on an old movie, share some wine and I unwind...Casablanca is usually the movie of choice; it doesn't matter how many times we've seen it, dozens for certain, we still enjoy it together...

Exercise, listen to music, or bake. What I choose to do depends on where the stress is coming from.

take 10 deep breaths
maybe take 20 if the stress is bad
take a nap if you can
sometimes, a good night's sleep and things seem different the next day or you have some more solutions
(I think the brain works when you sleep and solves problems, but I am not sure)

^ true about sleep, in your dreams your subconscious helps work out difficulties and deal with situations.

I get a massage if I get backaches or watch a comedy if I feel tense. Sometimes, warm tea and a good book will do the trick

Exercise and a hot bath. Also walking away and a good night's sleep helps.
