    Rant #1
A few months back, I complained about having to spend a half hour explaining to the pharmacist why I want to buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol (it was no longer on the shelves, ostensibly to cut down on people buying it to drink). Imagine my delight when I came across some bottles last week on the shelf. Didn't pay attention to the small print, thought the green bottles were just a marketing thing. I went to open the bottle today to clean the brats' ears. Mint. Who the heck uses mint scented (flavoured?) rubbing alcohol? And doesn't that entirely defeat the purpose of not encouraging people to drink it????

    Rant #2
There was a world caroling challenge today. Thousands packed into a small area. 15 minutes of off-key singing. Why can't people stand still for 15 minutes? Why do they have to push kids, the elderly and the disabled (cause they're the easiest targets) out of their way to get from one side of the crowded street to the other side of the crowded street? And if it is really that essential to get to the other side, why can't you go around the crowd instead of going through it? On the plus side, I got to know some strangers really well when I got shoved into them by these boors.

if there is no promo on the box then it is probably just a random code printed on to box for production sake (most likely production of the box itself) you see this alot on toilet paper rolls a number printed inside the tube and i've seen it on many random boxes

I am tired of things costing me money when it was totally unnecessary spending.

Today's version. DH went out and bought his mom a $30 Cineplex GC and didn't bother to tell me.

If he had bothered he would've known that we've had one sitting in our drawer for about 6 months that we haven't used and we could've saved the money!

I can never get this. I am a petite lady, measuring less than 1.5 foot wide so if you are walking behind me and there's no one on my left nor right and you want to pass me, why don't you just move to the left OR to the right to pass, instead of insisting walking behind me and saying "excuse me, excuse me" in that hurry voice. This happened more than once when I was at the mall, I turned around and both my left and right are clear (there's enough room for 10 people walking side by side). My question is "Do they think they own the pavement and I am suppose to get out of their way? Are they only allowed to walk in a straight line or something bad will happen to them?"

I can't belief my sister is so lack of empathy about my "multiple chemical sensitivity" problem. She thinks it's all in my head (in her word crazy) and I should expose myself to more chemicals to desensitize my body. Sort of like feeding me peanuts at every meal when I have peanuts allergy until I no longer allergic to peanuts. Makes so much sense to me. I feel so much love from her.

@Decaf I would muchh prefer people saying excuse me. I always get people just knocking me out of the way. I am not petite at all. All they have to do is say excuse me and I will move. I have been bruised really bad a few times because people don't have mouths to speak with, apparently.
@Andit I was at the world caroling record too! A lot of fun but so, so cold. I had some hot tea, a hot shower and am still an icicle

TBH, I would prefer that they walk around me like a normal person would (when there's room on both sides). I walk around to pass people all the time...it's not a rude thing.

When I was at a subway station during rush hour in Japan...I was walking around trying to dodge people and I was so scared I would bump into someone but NO ONE bumps into me. I was so disoriented I don't even know if I am walking on the wrong side or not. Over here in Canada, we're supposed to keep right so we won't bump into each other. But the sheer mass of people walking very fast my brain can't keep up.

I have no problem walking around in Toronto China town or Hong Kong during new year festival but Japan subway has got to be the busiest place.

I placed an order on the showcase Canada store website because they guarantee Christmas delivery for Ontario if the order is placed by Dec 20th(I placed mine on the 15). Got ONE of the 4 things I ordered, they have no physical contact number only email which no one is responding to. I need these items for Christmas and if they aren't going to be here I need to hunt them down somewhere else.

People who would rather "UGH!", nearly knock you to the floor and make an idiot of themselves than simply saying, excuse me or sorry.
I`m lucky to even get out of my house, pain can be so bad I want to kill myself. Stay out of my personal space and don`t touch me. Friggen bxtch.

(The first time was the best, I came home and DH asked me if I heard that the neighbour's kid was arrested off the bus and lol THAT's so-and-so's kid? Hear, no, I was there.) This week I was on a bus and I guess the driver's head popped because she parked 'er and hopped on a crossing express bus and...half an hour later transit people begin to show up to try and find the bus driver. And, of course, it's always interesting to see what people will bring on the bus...I often wonder if they will let me take a grocery cart on...animals, a lot of animals on the bus...

    TRUST ME YOU'LL LOVE IT.
    Just read this now

    Had a good LOL.

I like neck tattoos, they give off that ' fresh outta jail ' look.
    Get-a-way bus.. sounds accurate.

My favourite is when your hands are full and the bus speeds off and your struggling to get those chairs down at the front (You know, for the strollers and disabled) and people are yelling PRESS THE RED BUTTON.
Like how about you come over and be a dear before I go flying. Or is that a no-no of public transit?

And so your saying I can bring my cat on the bus? Thanks for making me optimistic about the transat, Lecale!

Rude or just really, really hungry? Maybe it just irks me because I have many times less cash to fling around so it seems like a bigger deal than it is?

Lock the doors, the neighbours are hungry!!!!
I would not accept the opened and consumed cheese cake. I would not pay for leftover over cheese cake. Period!

Unbelievable! Next time she comes over you could put out anything "expired" that you want to get rid of. (I'd be unhappy about this too.) Your neighbor needs to learn some manners.
