Hallmark movie - A Royal Christmas 9.5/10
You know, it was a perfect feel-good romantic movie for this time of year. Sure, formulaic, but very well done with decent writing.
Jane Seymour was perfect as the biatchy queen who turns around at the end.

Horrible Bosses 2 - 7/10.
Not as funny as the first one but still pretty good.
The previews (for shows coming out soon) were hilarious! Really looking forward to some of them!

The whole gang here went to see LOTR The Battle Of The 5 Armies last night and yes oh yes!! I was IN LOVE with it all.
However, I think it has more to do with the shared memories of us being with our kids through all the phases of their growth while enjoying these flicks. We did purchase a few of these for home viewing, the first being on a VHS tape, which of course is useless as we have no VCR anymore ( lol ) DS was given a gift set one year and I thought it might get worn out it was played so many times. We'll have to wait now for this one to come out and maybe we can complete our home collection. At that point a binge watching get together will be in store....that will take plenty of hours to get through!
Oh I rate this one 9/10...not the favourite one for me, but still good to watch.

Corner Gas The Movie - 8.5/10
Was a huge fan of the tv series, but was leary of how they would translate this into a movie.
Well, they did a fab job - with the storylines, it was movie-worthy, not just an extended tv episode.

We caught part of that on the movie channel, Natalka. What I saw was pretty good. Used to love watching the show.

Night At The Museum ( The Secret Of the Tomb) 7 1/2 out of 10. It was charming, and as always these kinds of movies a family can enjoy together without the parents cringing over what they are exposed to. Ben Stiller posing as a Neanderthal was quite good, and I found Rebel Wilson adorable and funny.

^ Can't wait to see it! How does it compare with the others? I liked both a lot.
The Interview - 4/10, though I can see others giving it a 6.
Just not my type of humour.

Did you watch that online Nat? I was glad no one here even asked about watching it, much like you I know it is not really my kind of humour . Even some people in the U.S. who were asked coming out of the theatre said they were going to see it just to show their support for freedom of speech, NOT because they thought it was an epic film.
Oh and this version of NATM ( Ben Stiller flick ) really was the weakest of the 3, but as I said still entertaining to watch.
