And the weather man is NOT cooperating! That 10cm of snow keeps inching back and is now scheduled to drop on Saturday. Phooey. My Oncologist called though and will see me next Thursday for my results, so that's good. No major stewing in my juices for results which is nice. I was afraid I'd be stuck waiting for my original date of March 12 for results. lol

Tara........I continue to keep you and your hubby in my prayers every night, and hope that in some way they're making a difference...faith...it's all I can offer you...........
As for those rodents, I'll take the "early spring" here, and let spring come in its own good time somewhere else!

Thank you Lynn I appreciate it, they do help. I know it. I feel the love. And I just want to know where all of this snow was for Christmas lol it would have been nice! Grrrr.
With the temperatures so freaking cold again and it still snowing, I should hibernate for the next few days. Sounds good to me! Soon my MRI will be here and done.Last edited by TaraF; Wed, Feb 4th, 2015 at 09:26 PM.

I see you aren't a snow fan, so thought of you when I saw this

We're supposed to be getting some tonight and into the weekend, and (sorry) we are all happy about it - it's better than all the crap ice everywhere.

Not a major snow fan, what I'm really not a fan of would be idiots that don't shovel their walks. My husband and I went to the mall today and the apartment buildings don't know how to shovel their walks and I took a nice tumble in a snow bank. I think I'm still defrosting. Brrrrrr. Watching the weather and by the time we return from my MRI tomorrow there should be about a 7cm snowfall, not bad. After I'm home it can snow all it wants lol.
I discovered *sadly* that coffee is triggering my seizures again. Boooo. Thought yesterday was a fluke and tempted fate again today but it set off a wave of seizures today too. Pffft. So I definitely know something is going on in my head right now, guess it's a good time for an MRI.

Oh, dear. So it's the caffeine? What about decaf coffee and tea? I guess you've tried them, too....Well, hey! Green tea is good for you and tastes good, too. With Sweet 'n Low. Omg, my Japanese Girlfriend was horrified the first time I did that. Then she just got used to it and smiled....you know, that, "you're so nutty" smile...
And no more scaring me with "I fell" stuff! Heavens, I don't think I'll ever feel safe walking again, I'm so afraid of falling! It'll be a year in May and I've been sent back to using my walker for a while around the house by my physiotherapist. Gr. Ah well...we know as well as any that set-backs are temporary, right? RIGHT!
You and your hubby have a lovely weekend, of rest after your MRI Sweetheart...
I'm pretty sure you said you didn't have to wait long for your results, but I forget when...

I don't know exactly Lynn because just smelling the coffee set them off. I'm back THERE again. Grrrr. lol I adore a good cup of green tea, though I drink it plain and have never had it with sweet 'n low.
Back to the walker? That sucks. BUT....at least you're walking. Gotta keep positive, right? That's the up side of it all, I mean you could be laid up in bed and not able to move at all, but instead you are able to move. So that's a GOOD thing! There's my "fake it til you make it" lecture of the day. lol I've been trying it on myself today. It's not working with myself though. haha
I meet with my Oncologist on Thursday for my results so thankfully I don't wait long for them. I'm quite antsy because I'm having really bad feelings about my MRI because of all of my symptoms I've been having. Meh. There isn't anything I can do about it but suck it up. And hope I'm wrong!

Horndogg I'm glad radiation is going well for you, the one thing it seems to do is zap the energy out of you. Rest up.
The weather held out for the trip for my MRI today. Yay! Now the weather is unleashing on us which is fine. Came home to a vomiting child as my mom was babysitting my 2 youngest nephews as my brother and SIL went to a funeral in Toronto today. They were perfectly fine at 7:30am when they got here and at 9:30am when we left, but the youngest started vomiting a within a half hour of my husband and I leaving this morning. Not sure what he is sick with but he was vomiting for a good solid 7 hrs that he was here, poor kid. Hoping it's nothing contagious though. Talked to my brother not long ago and he said that he's still vomiting even with gravol and gingerale.
Poor guy. The kids Nana and Papa have both the flu and pneumonia and he's been around them both and they actually didn't go to the funeral today because they are sick (hence the kids came here) so it's possible it's the flu. Either way I hope he gets better and hope I don't catch whatever he has.
