I redeemed my PC points connected to my PC World Master Card for PC gift cards today without any issues, but you have to redeem $50 worth, the system only takes away $20 or $10 worth of points not $5 so you can't get $25, hope that helps....
Please use my referral orange key code 47245085S1 for opening new Tangerine account and I will split the $50 bonus with you

I don't buy the pie fillings but the large can of ED Smith Pure Pumpkin which they do include in the ED Smith pie filling offer. One time, RCSS had these cans on for .94c (can run from $3-4 each and the exp date was in 2016) and I have something like 1000pts offer on each can! I use it for baking cookies etc.... My daughter loves to eat it and I also mix it in my dog's food who also LOVES it! It's actually good for you.

Fri, Mar 20th, 2015, 06:01 PM #5347Some people seem to be confused about PC plus or how they get offers. As an ex-cashier I can explain a little.
The number of offers you receive is based on how much money you spend and how many transactions you make on average using the PC plus card.
Offers are in a pool every week and change: most are based on what you buy, some are related to sales that are happening in stores, some are for everyone. That's why some weeks you just don't get offers of things you buy. PC Plus measures how often you buy a product, if you buy cookies only once every eight weeks, PC Plus is going to give you a larger pts offer for it than if you buy it every week, hoping that those points can persuade you to buy them. You will get larger (pts wise) offers on things you buy less frequently. PC plus will also track how often you buy something (like toilet paper) and anticipate when you'll buy it again, and give you an offer when that week arrives.
You cannot buy pc gift cards with PC plus points, but you can still buy them with PC points earned from a mastercard or debit. Also, PC points redemption only counts for before taxes and after any discounts. So if your total is 19.99 before taxes, you'll have to add something else on to redeem.
Customer service can help you if in-store (on shelf or flyer) offers don't appear on your card, so like even if a shelf sign for 300 pts is expired, you can go to customer service and get the points added onto your card. However, stores, in general (unless they're applying the customer first policy), cannot help with digital offers. Emailing or Phoning PC plus themselves can resolve these problems, and generally apply bonus points for your trouble so it's worth the email.Last edited by thriftygranny; Fri, Mar 20th, 2015 at 06:09 PM.

Do you still earn points of you redeem when you have some offers that say spend xx amount on and item and get points, even if you still pay some out of pocket?
I have a get 10,000 points when you spend $50 on baby items, I plan on spending about $175 on everything. If I redeem points to bring my total down will I still get the points for buying the baby stuff?Last edited by wahiariis; Sat, Mar 21st, 2015 at 08:46 AM.

As of late yesterday (Friday), the Kitchener RCSS still had them on for $1.98 + 1,000pts. Of course, I had to buy another couple of boxes to go with the stash I've acquired in the prior 3 or 4 weeks since that promo started. I mean the product is yummy, and who can pass up $0.98 a box net cost?!
In your case, that would be even cheaper, what with the personal pts offer. Inventory on shelf was getting low, but still Blueberry and Cranberry available... I think the Banana Choc chip were gone. of course I'm not sure which city you're in, but good luck in your search.

I believe that's the context of the discussion ... its all about which card is swiped prior to telling the cashier you wish to redeem points to pay for the GC you are trying to buy.
In my case, when swiping my PC Financial Debit card AND choosing a front end supervisor level cashier, I've never had an issue redeeming pts for either PC or 3rd party GCs.
Having said that, there are issues when swiping a PCPlus card, then trying to redeem your points for a GC. I've never been able to make that work.Last edited by Pointsman; Sat, Mar 21st, 2015 at 09:24 AM.

I only have five points offers for this week-Rio Mare canned tuna, carrots, spinach, another product item and a brand of biscuits I have never purchased. But--since I did a grocery visit (despite the store's weekend only flyer, I was able to get about half of my items on sale in-store) on Thursday, I'm expecting a little more variety for next week's offers. No PC Plus earned though-I had boring points offers and the sparkling juice offer would have meant buying the juice at $2.99. I passed.
I have not had any bonus offers for two weeks. Usually the link shows up in an e-mail or in your PC Plus account around Tues or Wed IF you get a bonus offer.Last edited by Ciel; Sat, Mar 21st, 2015 at 12:54 PM.

Actually it's the Hidden PC points offer I was looking for.
A few weeks ago The offer was 1000 points when you buy blue menu veggies. maybe they don't do it anymore, that was an awesome offer
