North Bay store's last day is the 12th, I'm pretty surprised that we lasted so long over all the other stores. Planning on going a couple times more before they close up.

Cambridge no longer has scanners, everyone was price checking at the checkout. Most of the stuff is labeled though. I didn't really find anything I need, but they had an awul lot of bed skirts at 70%.

Trinity still 50-70% off. Make up 70%. Weird thing happened though... I stopped by sat morning there was lots of cosmetics...diff brand. Stopped by Monday evening and only Sonia k brand left. Not even a single pcs left of any other brand?!?!? I mean they had TONES of nail polish on Sat. Where did it all go????? Lol

    Well, ours is closed.
My last best buys were the last 4 L'Oreal Blur tubes; at 60% off. They were amazing bargains since those little miracle tubes never go on sale...

Ugh it's just mind boggling how Walmart has managed to survive. I tried to do a return today with original tags and receipt for two things that didn't fit my kids(bought 4 days ago), took 30 mins of arguing to get a refund. Asked multiple employees for help on two different items, they were either clued out or not allowed to help(needed something on the top shelf, wanted to ask for assistance before I got yelled at for doing it myself, apperently there is special training needed for employees to stand a foot off the ground at Walmart), was told to check walmart.ca for inventory at other stores(cus we all know the website is accurate), instead of having the employee call to check for me. Do they not want my money?
And then you have a store like Target, with amazing employees, who go out of their way to help(like my lost phone incident), will try their hardest to make sure you leave happy, offer assistance without you asking for it, will try their hardest to track down something for you and always have a smile on their face(even today, 2 days before she's unemployed I had the nicest, sweetest cashier who was armed with stickers and suckers for the cranky kids in the line up), can't make it here.
I think Target has ruined shopping for me, and I'm always going to want to the same level of service I got there and will be sadly disappointed with (almost) every other store.

I too tried wm today to see where I will be going after target closes in a few days. If I didn't get forced by the revlon haircolor coupon.. I would have taken more time. But for sure... RCSS will get my money for the most. Customer service there seems better... target will be highly missed.

I think I will save a lot of money as I have no where left to shop. I was in on the weekend and scored tshirts for me for 5.00 and they wash like a dream. I also found Gillian o malley Jammie pants for 4.00. But if I wore them to Walmart I would be too dressed up. I love the Gillian pjs and really don't need them but could not resist.

I was told it was the 11th. I went today...it was so depressing...I live close by and would very often go to Starbucks and just do a "lap".

I sooo get it!! We have been spoiled and broken for prices and service! I am going to miss my Target people so much! I rode along with my best friend today because he wanted to go to Walmart. I refused to go in, LOL. Not ready yet....I think RCSS will also be my alternative.

When I saw someone sleeping on the bench out front and the campers parked out in the lot....I just knew I was not "home". Different walk of life than I am use to.

I had to go to Target Bellingham today to get my "fix" Felt like home. Except I walked down the aisles and kept telling my husband I got this for cheaper and that for cheaper. The funny thing is, the US prices were the same as the CDN prices (regular price)

omfg! Thank you! You made me laugh out loud!

I ran downstairs the other day to throw out the garbage and recycling....in my jammies I thought I would be so fast but I got caught by someone coming back into the building at the same time as me. So I just nonchalantly said....Oh hey, yeah just getting back from Walmart.

RIP target canada. So sad it is over. We were away when both london locations closed. So sad! I thought when I booked cruise in january for end of March that I would still have a few weeks to shop before closing. Then the dreaded news...closing while away. Broke my kobo glo while away (note...do not accidentally kneel on screen...it will not end well)... But okay I have a brand new spare that I bought last summer for $50 in event mine or my mom's died. But no more kobo deals for me. On a happy note someone on cruise loved my $5 target polka dot beach bag that I bought just before leaving. So many great target memories. Going to frame my red card and make a shrine!

I hear you, I got my Kobo Glo for $45 from Target last year on sale. My Red card is still in my purse, I couldn't bring myself to destroy it - I was amazed that even on the day they closed, they still gave the 5% descount.

People are walking away from this experience with a higher standard of customer service expectations. Take note retailers, if you are good to us, we will be very good to you. $$$
