I just love getting a deal like that, especially sense bacon is expensive now. It is normally only 375g for over $5:00.

Awesome find on the bacon, Angela - wowsers!

Change of plans for supper tonight since I have a hurt back - going to take advantage of Whopper Wednesday. I'll have a whopper and poutine (I never finish the burger), husband will have three whoppers and large fries. He'll still be hungry later, so he just can have whatever he can find in the house - maybe a cinnamon bun and some strudel.

    on-sale bacon here is a minimum $6.00

I nachoed out last night, had some friends over to watch the game...topped with ground beef, mushrooms, onions, peppers, loads of cheese...topped with sour cream and salsa..made 3 large pans...if you ever make them using ground beef try adding teriyaki sauce to the meat, it is soooo good on the nachos...

...not sure what I'm having this evening, it's going to be cool but I feel like bbqing a chicken...remove the back bone (with a heavy pair of kitchen scissors) flatten, season with any spices, put on a heated bbq, turn the heat off underneath, leave on the other burners and rotate the chicken 1/4 turns every 15 mins or so until done..and about 45 mins or so before its done start slathering with Diana chicken & rib sauce..it is also soooo good.....

^ Always wanted to try do a flattened chicken - I'll make sure I do it this summer!

Tonight, our son is coming for supper, so we'll be having some sort of long pasta (not sure what I have) with pork meatballs in tomato sauce and coleslaw.

My best shopping buddy's East Indian mom made authentic butter chicken all day, roasting and blending spices and all that. He loves me so much that he dropped me off a big container It smells soooo good and I had a little taste earlier. It has a nice creeper heat to it and several layers if flavor. mmmm Just waiting for my rice.

I've been moving to homemade versions of things as much as I can lately. Cookies, bread, etc.

This isn't exactly for dinner tonight, but I'm totally trying this over the weekend - SOUR CREAM! Not that artificially soured stuff!
