Went over to my brothers and had a lovely dinner of BBQ steak, baked potatoes, veggies and a fruit flan for dessert.

No idea, Mom is working tonight so I am alone for dinner. I bought Mom pizza last night it was dinner out but she didn't want to go out so delivery it was. Might take her out one night after work, we will have to see how the week goes, if not will probably go out next weekend once I get off work.

Had Italian tonight, Veal parmigiano, green lasagna with some of the best Italian bread I ever had. Italian ice cream for dessert once we had a glass of wine. All thanks to my wonderful daughters.

    So, sharing a chicken recipe?

We had Chinese takeout so I don't have to cook. Ordered enough to have for supper tomorrow since DS has a class on Monday evenings right after we get home.

Well, talk about being spoiled for Mother's Day!

Son came over with a huge box of food - takeout since he knew my back wasn't great yet to chance going out.
He chose a whole bunch of different appetizers and meals for us to share - note, there are only three of us! He took a lot home with him and left some for me, too.

Greek lemon orzo soup (awesome, I prefer with rice, but it was rich and dilly)
Caesar salad - Milan's fave, and he took one home, too. WAY too garlicky for me - which says a lot!
Greek salad for me - and he had them put in some extra Greek olives (what they didn't know is that they are for the cats - this was our after-supper entertainment. It's like a drug for them.)
    Garlic toast and cheese toast

Shrimp scampi - they were huge and juicy!
Dry garlic ribs - perfect, lovely when they are both tender inside and crunchy outside

Main meals - Philly cheesteak and fries
    Pork cutlets, fries, veggies
Veal cordon bleu, baked potato, veggies
Scallopini - not what I thought it would be, it was pork cutlets pretty much baked into a mushroom lasagne - absolutely freakin' awesome!

So needless to say we were all fed well, and everything was delicious.
For anyone coming to Saskatoon, it was from Blue Diamond.

Sounds wonderful Natalka. ^^ That was so sweet of your son.
I went out to dinner with my DH, DS and DD. We went to my favorite local Italian restaurant. I had the spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. After that we went to see the new Avengers movie at the theater. That was a movie I had been wanting to see (really) and it was hilarious. It was a great day since we all spent it together.

I'm going to cook a beef stew for supper tonight.

Last night I made gnocchi (store bought) in a mushroom gravy. Had Roasted cauliflower on the side, this is my weakness I love this stuff so ate half a large cauliflower, but it is a veggie so it is all good right?

Tonight Mom is home so who knows but I do know we have some potatoes to use up. Thinking some form of meat with roasted potatoes and whatever veggies we have.
